     Warning! Blood and gore ahead!

Carsten still remembered her face clearly, as if she were in front of him.
Her skin was tan, beautiful freckles even darker covered every inch of her from head-to-toe. Her eyes were dazzling and blue, making her stand out even more. He memorized her hair, and every detail of it, too.
Her hair was a mousy brown, tips dyed ocean blue and green, half her head shaved months ago and hair already growing short. She would always have it in a long fishtail that reached mid-back.
Her skirts and tank-tops usually matched her hair, always teal or a shade of such. They matched her knitted bag and white flats. He missed her glasses the most.
They were massive, almost too cartoonishly big for such a small face like her's.
Carsten wished it were still like that.
The last time he saw her glasses, they were shattered. Minuscule shards scattered across the pavement, her empty frames laying on the sidewalk nearby. Carsten lifted his dizzy head to the sight of her body laying in front of their shared red convertible. Her eyes were half lidded, her breathing shallow and ragged.
     "A-Aamina!"
The door was heavy, and it wasn't of any help that his airbag inflated and made it so much harder to check on her. He kicked the door open to where he noticed his arms were wounded, most cuts already crusted with dry blood while two others leaked freely.
Pushing his injuries to the side, he tripped out of the car and fell nearly three times on his way to Aamina.
Rather clumsily Carsten landed on his knees and his eyes filled with horror at the sight of his friend, broken and bloodied. Aamina rested on the cracked pavement below, a small puddle forming at the base of her neck. Once lovely hair now soiled with the distinguishable smell of blood.
Tears soon began to speckle on Aamina's skin, however they were not her own.
     "Oh God... Aamina."
She smiled the slightest. "Carsten." Her voice was hoarse and sounded as if she had smoked half her life.
He held her hand, the one that was still attached to her body, and kissed the top shakingly.
     "I'm... I'm so sorry."
     "It's not your fault."
Carsten hiccuped. "I-I-I don't think I-I can heal you."
     "Heal yourself."
"No! I w-won't let that be a possibility!"
Carsten placed his fingertips upon the open gash on her face, a pale glowing light radiating from them and in mere seconds it was healed.
She smiled, although it hurt immensely she wanted to reassure him.
     "Carsten..."
He got to work quickly, healing as many cuts and injuries as he could, however it wasn't enough.
Aamina was still getting colder, her skin paler, he watched with agony as her brilliant life left her dulling blue eyes.
His eyes, however, were bloodshot, screaming for relief and for all this to end.
     "Aamina, I'm so sorry."
Her icy hand reached out, touching the hand that wiped at his eyes.
"Carsten... Please don't live with regret."
He gazed down to see her closed eyes, mouth grinning for the last time.
"I'm glad that my last moments could be spent with you."
Aamina's hand retracted slowly, once reaching the ground she finally passed.
Carsten still remembered her death clearly, he wished he didn't.

A/N: Complete once again! I feel as if I'm really blooming with my writing, and it gives me strength! ✊ I'm sorry because this isn't really fairy related and only has one use of magic, but I'm proud of it nonetheless, anyways I hope you enjoyed! :D
