Criminal -Neil Westfall-

Chapter Ten

I stand there, in front of the mirror in the bathroom with the door shut. It was nearly 5 o'clock in the morning. I did it. I lost to my virginity to a guy I barely knew. What the hell? I shook my head to myself. Disappointed in myself, but I really wasn't at the same time. It felt natural, all of it. It hurt in so many ways but it was enjoyable too. I didn't know if I could face Neil after this? Would he just leave after this?

Shortly after thinking to myself in the bathroom, I open the door and you could hear the lock just unlock. He sits up still shirtless. I just stood there looking at him and he stood up to face me. Then hugged me? He hugged me. Why?

"I shouldn't have-"

"You didn't force me to do anything Neil, I asked for it. That's not how I thought it was going to happen but I'm glad it happened..I'm 18, it shouldn't have taken that long to lose it."

"But I didn't want to hurt you Kat, and I really do want a relationship with you. I just don't want you think I'm using you for sex or anything like that babe." He ran his fingers through my hair slowly. I can tell he wasn't using me. 

"I need to understand you Neil..but I can't. There is something there blocking it all. I just need to get past all of that. Please let me?"

"Babe there is nothing there. That's the truth. Like you said I'm a mysterious guy. That's who I will forever be, I cannot help that." He makes me look at him by making his hand to my chin and lifting it up. "I'm not hiding anything from you. I know all of this was fast but I feel safe here, with you."

"Why wouldn't you feel safe anywhere else?"

"Nothing.. I mean I wouldn't know."

"It's that kind of stuff that I don't understand. Why did you come to this town Neil? No one willing moves here."

He just looks at me, "That's a story for another time babe." He turns around and walks back to the bed in his boxers. I stayed where I was. All I wanted was to know. And he notices me not moving. "Damnit Kat, I'm tired. It's a long story and I don't have the fucking patients right now. It's 5, you can stand there for as long as you want. Or you can come get in bed with me to sleep. That one is up to you. I never said I wouldn't tell you. All I said was I will tell you another time. I'm-"

"I just-"

"Fucking tired! I'm fucking tired Kat. Now get the hell over here!" There was a small bang on the wall. And I felt bad for waking Trevor so I gave up for now. I walk over to him and he lets me lay down first. He pulls me close once he was in and I could feel his breathing on my shoulder and shortly I was sleeping in his arms.

"You can't be doing that shit all night Neil!" I wake up right away starting to hear Trevor voice, he was angry and yelling loud. Then again the bedroom door was only cracked. 

"I'm sorry man, it just kinda happened."

"I am not Jackson's responsibility! He barely got sleep last night and I was the one to take him this morning! What if I had to work this morning?"

"Well you didn't so don't worry about it, it won't happen gain. I swear."

"That's not the point Neil!" Trevor yells. "You either tell her about JackJack or I'm not helping out with him anymore." I heard someone take a deep breath, I'm guessing Neil. 

"Okay, I'll tell her about JackJack." I heard foot steps come close to the door then Neil walks in seeing me away. "Morning babe. Sorry we didn't mean to wake you."

"What was that all about? Who is Jackson? Or JackJack?"

"Jackson is my brother.."

"Why didn't you tell me?" I look at him wondering why he didn't. 

"He never came up and it's a long story so I don't want you to ask why I have him."

"You told me last night-"

"Kat please, not now." He looks down at himself still in his boxers. 

"Okay..Well how old is he?"

"He's 10."

"Okay, when do I get to meet him?" 

"When he um.. gets out of school and after hes done with his babysitter." I nod. I didn't know what to say or do after this. He comes over and sits next to me. I look at him in the eyes and he kisses me sweetly. I kiss back but then he get slowly on top of me. I didn't know how to feel about this? I didn't know if I should do it again, after only one night, less thank 24 hours? The thing was, I do think I wanted it? I felt this connection, a strong one with Neil.

"I'll be carefully again okay? I won't go fast or hard, okay? I don't want to do anything you don't want me too." I nod wanting to feel his lips again. Then there was a bang on the door. Neil sighs and rests his head on my shoulder. I smile softly. "What is it?" Neil growled, I ran my fingers though his hair to calm him down.

"I'm heading out, need anything from the store?" Neil rolled his eyes. "Not even condoms for the new couple?" My face dropped, I didn't know he knew about Neil and I?

"Please." They said their goodbyes and then we went back to kissing, we both were basically naked already so we didn't have to waist time. Once the condom was on it happened all over again.
