6 Months Later

I walk out of the bed room yawning into my hand. I got thirty in the middle of the night so I went to get some water. I walk past Jackson's room and stop, I look in it and think of the funeral. I stand in the doorway. It was the saddest thing I've ever been too. The whole club came down from South Dakota, their old ladies, grandparents, everyone who knew Jackson came down. The one thing I noticed when I was meeting everyone was his mom or dad didn't come. It was none of my business and I wasn't going to bring it up since it was his funeral. Neil barely talked after that.

I take a deep breathe then kept walking down the hallway. I see a light when I get closer to the living room, but it came from the kitchen instead. I cross my arms and walk in there seeing Neil sitting at the kitchen table. His hands were locked together and he was just staring at the table. He was still wearing his clothes from earlier. His cut was on the table, his gun and cigs were on it just resting there. I tilt my head to the right a little. I knew he was depressed. He had no one but me here. The club members that were here left after Jackson's funeral, even Trevor left. They all drove back up there together. Not because they wanted to but Neil told them too. Everything they needed to find Andy was back at the club house in Bismark.

"Neil, baby. You need to get some sleep. It's nearly 3 in the morning." I walk up to him and rub his shoulder. He placed his hand on mine, rubbing it with his thumb. "Come on," I try to get him up but he just shook his head.

"I shouldn't even be president, I should've known. " He pulls on my hand, placing me on his lap for comfort.

I whisper to him, "How could you have known? You couldn't have baby." He fixes me so I was straddling his lap, I was wearing a small pair of black panties along with one of Neil's plain white tee's.

"He was family.. He took everything of the clubs in that room. All my guns, all the money, paper work. If that leaks out, every brother would be screwed. How do I know he won't go to the cops? Everyone thinks I'm a failure at being president." I place my hand on his cheek forcing him to look at me.

"Your brother's love you baby. They would've done everything you did. You needed closure and you thought you were doing what was best." I rubbed his cheek softly.

"I love you." I smile soft as I feel his hands go up and down my thighs.

"I love you too." He pulls me closer, having our bodies touch and he pushed his lips against mine. It wasn't too hard but not too soft either. I wrap my arms around his neck getting into the kiss deeper. Neil gently squeezed my thighs causing me to stand, "Come on, lets get you to bed." I gave a wink in his direction, he gave me a tired smile while standing. He grabbed his gun for protection as he did every night and I led him back into the bedroom.

I sit at the kitchen table staring at the computer trying to focus on my school work. I never got to finish since everything happened so fast. I look online courses. I was about finished, I only had to take a few more tests then an exam, which I was hoping to get finished this week. I look a bite of my toast hearing Neil getting out of the shower and walking my way.

"Morning." I give a slight nod. "Coffee?"

"Please." It took him a few minutes to make my coffee. I started to notice Neil talking more and more. It gave me more faith in him, I knew he would recover from this, it was going to take time but soon enough he'll come back around. He placed my coffee down on the table next to my plate. "Thanks babe." I look up at him as he starts to lean down to rest a kiss on my forehead. I close my eyes and blush a little. I still blush even though I get one of those everyday. My attention was brought to Neil's body. A towel was wrapped around his waist and his body was still wet from his shower, I smirk lightly.

"Babe, your birthday is coming up. What do you want to do for it?" I shake my head.

"I don't really celebrate my birthday so don't worry about it." I take a sip of my coffee, always loving the way he made it. He didn't move from his spot, I could feel his eyes pierce through me. I look up as he cocked his head to the left. "Whatever you want to do is fine." He relaxed his body.

"Just let me know then." He walked away and I rolled my eyes at him. "I saw that." I shrugged not caring for my sassiness this morning.

Neil went back into the bedroom to get dressed then yelled, "Your phone is ringing!"

"Who is it?" I kept my contact on the computer.

"Jeremy! Want it?" I nod knowing Neil wouldn't see me. But he knew me well enough that I wanted it. He walks out naked while handing me the phone.

"Really?" I laugh as he smirks. I took the phone and answered it. "Hey Jer. What's up. How's New York? You become a city boy yet?"

"Ha ha ha, very funny. I wanted to let you know I planned on visiting for your birthday. Just wanted to know where you wanted to go so I could make the plans."

"Whatever you wanna do is fine. Neil wanted to do something with me too. I have to make room for the both of my boys." He laughs then stops right away.

"Well I'm first."

"I think Neil would be, if you know what I mean." I giggle but the other side of the phone call was quiet.

"Did you just make a sex joke?"

"Yeah, I did." I smile.

"Gross. Well I gotta go, I'm recording today. So I'll text you the days I'm coming up. Love you."

"Love you too. " I hang up the phone and get back to work.

"What did he want?" Neil comes back out fully dress and then makes himself a mug of coffee.
