Kalen woke as the darkness retreated from her vision. The anxious looks of Kayden, Jace and Cera looked at her carefully with concern. Jace was first to speak. It looked like he didnt sleep at all with the visible black bags uner his eyes.
Kalen sat up slowly feeling something rough scarch her skin, her hand automatically moved to the bandage wrapped around her side.
"Jace?" She whispered as she sat up slowly.
He stood up and sat by her, hsi hand on top of hers. "Yes, Kale."
She looked at Cera and Kayden. "How long have I been out?"
"Two days."
Her eyes widen as she felt her gums ache. Her stomach growled as she felt a blush creep up on her cheeks.
Jace turned around to see Kayden just stand there. He suddenly offered his wrist to Kalen who looked at him with full suprise.
"Drink from me. " He said with his voice confident.
Kayden nodded and Cera gave her an yes face.
She reached ofr his reach and put it to her mouth. Her fangs came quickly as she bit and fel the blood begin to pour into her throat.
He jumped at the pirecing feeling from her fangs. The light red of her eyes acknowleged that she was a truly a vampire.
After a short time, she pulled by her fangs dripping of his blood. She swallowed the last bite of his blood grateful.
Jace felt dizzy from the loss of blood from his wrist. He gave a reassuring smile at Kalen who put her hand on his.
Almost immeadlity, the dizziness went away. Rubbing his head, he looekd at Kalen. "Thanks."
"No, Thank you." She smiled as Cera gave Kalen and Jace a group hug.
"I missed you Jace." She said smiling oulling back.
"I know...its been awhile."
Kalen nodded as Kayden entered the room.
"Ok now that the lovely dove moment is over." He spat. "I think our real problem is vampire hunters. "
Jace looked up at Kayden. "I know. I cant beleive Dustin would just turn on like that."
Kalen shook her head. "It doesnt suprise me. Hes been wanting revenge on vampires because they killed his family."
Jace sighed and hung his head. "Lets just hope that he has a good heart."
Kalen got out of bed and with the help of Jace, she regained her balance. "Im taking a shower and then this will all make sense." Her gaze traveled to Kayden. "Wheres Renee?"
"Watching Dustin. Well, spying." He giggle as they exited Kalen's room.
After 10 minutes, Kalen came out feeling hersefl again. Everyone else was downstairs talking about the sudden arosen problem.
A cold breeze suddenly shock Kalen as she looked around. "Hello?" She whispered.
The icy feeling gathered in her blood as if her blood had frozen to ice. Her skin was filled with goosebumps, her hair standing up.
"Look!" A voice spoke hushed in her ear. Turning around once more, she saw a transculent figure standing. A guy with pale skin and jet black hair. His eyes were golden and seemed to shimmer in the hall light under them.
She backed up, her heart nearly pounding out of her chest. "Y-Your a ghost!" She exclaimed.
He nodded completely calm as he watched her.
