Kalen got out of the shower feeling better from the ordeal. She sighed as she wrapped a towel around her body. The blood had flowed down into the drain and dissappeared just like that. She shook her head as she gazed up at the mirroir. It reflected her features of what was now her. Her blood red hair adnd deep brown eyes. Her skin had changed. It was once light and now was pale and creamy like a perfect complextion. She smiled a little at her image. Somehow, this was a part of her and she had to learn to accept that.
Dustin had followed Cera upstairs to her bedroom like children. It would have seem normal was being lucky. The guy she had loved had come back. For good. To Stay. They sat on the bed together , their figures perfectly fitting together like a puzzle piece. It was unimaginable in the sense that Cera's dreams had come true.
Aaron was in the kitchen making Kalen hot choclate infised with blood. Jace watched him intently as he glanced at Kalen walking back downstairs. Her hair was wet and flowed down to her shoulders. "Hello, Jace." She said merely emtionless. With that, she picked up the warm hot chocolate by Aaron.
"Thanks. " She said with a smile as she once again glanced at Jace who stood their furiously.
Jace didnt know what to think. His girlfriend was a vampire and was living with werewolves. Go figure! He sighed. "Kale... Can we please talk?" He pleaded.
Kalen nodded and glanced at Aaron. By his expression he was fine with it but going to be a watchful eye.
She nodded following Jace out back up to the deck. As she closed the door, overlooking the patio with lawn furniture. She sat besides Jace watching his concerned face.
"I think im going to head back to school. You seem to be in good hands here."
She felt as though he slapped her, but by looking at his face, he was serious. Her eyes widen as she moved her hair to her right side. "Why?" She whispered, not looking at his face directly.
He sighed. "Kale, you seem fine here."
She stood up quickly, her mind racing with a million thoughts like an everlasting carousal. "Come with me." She said with hope holding out her hand for him to grab.
Jace obeyed and took Kalens soft, gentle hand. She gave a small smile to him as she ran through the forest and trees, dodging anything in her way. He laughed as she ran and he saw the school. He was quite confused as they stopped around the back. His face was filled with adrenaline draining from his face.
"Kale.. What are we doing here?" He asked chuckling. He hadnt realized how fun that was.
She smiled, dragging Jace into the schools halls which were empty. "To history." She responded with a playful smile on her face.
They walked down the hall to the auditorium. Jace tried the outside doors and the door clicked back at him. "Its locked!" He said disappointed.
Kalen touched the door. "I know how, come on." She whispered as she held out her hand soon closing her eyes.
Jace looked around for any teachers or students. He looked back at Kalen. "Come on.. We have to hurry." He said nervously.
"Shh" She shushed him quickly going back to concentrating her hand on the keyhole. As she opened her eyes, a woody skeleton key appeared in her hands.
Jace looked at Kalen puzzled beyond anything. "H-how did you do that?" He asked as he watched her fidget with key hole. Within seconds, the door clicked. She looked up at him and shrugged as they entered quietly hearing Mrs.Kalini voice boom through the auditorium.
"As of the vampires many have seen or known...The legend is one of those that we need t oget ready for." She spoke, her black heels clicking on the podium. Her black dressed measured to her knees, tightly slimming her body to easily her curves and figure.
