Chapter 21 - A New Plan

Kalen looked wide eyed at Annabeth as soon as she said that. "Go back to school!? Why?" She argued. 

Ridley sighed and glanced at Aaron who had become bewildered by the sudden news but didnt say anything. "I say we go back to school so that our lives can go back to normal?" Jace asked with a hint of hope in his voice. 

Kayden stood up, and narrowed his eyes on Jace, the only mundane in this house full of werewolves and vampires. "You decided to live here in the first place!" He paused, his eyes slowly turning a shade of an unplesent red. "You came for Kalen...and behold the outcome of the only human!" 

A slight growl exited Aaron's lips. "Listen to Kayden! You came here FOR Kalen and you expect us to control us better yet override your thoughts?" 

Jace trembled at the sudden impact of his motives and idea but now he knew it'd never work. "Look, Cera and Kalen has been friends with me for over 10 years. Why cant you expect that, Kayden!" 

A glimmer of pleasure moved around the group sliently as they watched in awe. Kayden gasped, baring the slight incisors mkaing beads of blood bleed from his lip. "Shut up , mundane. You have no say in this." 

Aaron rose up, feeling as though this had turned into a fight more then a conversation behalf of the boys. "Enough!" He shouted loudly. Everyone looked at him in shock. Ridley looked at him with her mouth partially open stunned by the outburst. "We have our differences but we overall fighting for the same thing!" His Alpha voice boomed amoungst everyone, reliefing his leadership loss with the vampires. "Jace maybe mudane but he's helping us. We've got three vampires, three werewolfs and a human. " His eyes flicked to Kalen before coutining. "Lets think this out, poiletly." His eyes scowled at Kayden and Jace who were now slowly sitting down, afriad to say even a peep. "After us we have the Five well, now four because Dustins change but we got us versus Mr.Akon." He stoped talking due to the look on everyone's face. 

Kalen gingerly put her hair into a ponytail as set her hands down on the table. Aaron had stopped. "I thinks he right." Cera had said next to her. From there, everyone nodded in agreement. 

Aaron smiled inwardly. "Then its decided. We go back to school." He pulled out a shimmering silver dagger enclsoed by his hiking boot. His reflection shined copying a mirrior. He saw snowy,silvery hair that nearly covered his pale blue eyes. He looked up. "But armed." 

Kalen nodded slowly, but found it hard to believe that she had now seen his Alphaness. She stood up. "Then we leave now." She grabbed a dagger from a new forming pile on the table and walked towards the door.

Seth walked with a gun cocked in his hands. "Why must we wait for-." He cut off when he saw Renee and Dustin but Dustin...he looked different. Renee glared at Seth and then cut her wrist deeply without saying any word to it. Dustin eagerly pounced upon Renne, his face glued to her wrist abosrbing her precious blood. 

Everyone stopped but some else spoke. His eyes right hand he held a sword, shimmering down to the blade of the grass and the right a sharp stake. "Renee, I see you brought him." It wasnt the Leaders voice but Mr.Akon who held his chin high, his piercing blue eyes shooting daggers amoungst his oppoents. 

The air was brisk and cold. A newly coat of white snow filled the grass and outlines of buidlings in the wake. Air was easily vapored water, white with the frost of breath. 

"Yes...I brought him." She spoke quietly her fist clenched tightly to her side.

Mr. Akon bent down as he watched Dustin hungerly go after her blood. "You found a vampire?" 

Renee stayed slient as she looked down at Dustin, a previously love but would he want to give and blame him for everything. He didnt kill Kalen, She thought. "Yes. What will you do with him?"
