First Date

You're P.O.V

I stood in front of my mirror with two outfits by my side. I held each one up to my body about twenty times. I could not choose for the life of me on which one to wear. I have to look good for her. I know she will look absolutely perfect. After much deliberation I decided on smart red plaid shirt, black denim jeans and white converse.

I put on some light make up and looked into my mirror. I was shocked at what I saw. I actually looked half decent. I grinned to myself as I looked at my phone to see what time it was. It was 7:00pm and I asked Lauren to meet me at my house at 7:30 for our very first date. I had planned a special evening for her. I wanted it to be absolutely perfect.

*honk honk* I knew straight away that it was Lauren so I quickly picked up my stuff and ran downstairs and out the front door as quick as possible, giving my parents a quick goodbye on the way out. I opened the car door and made her get out so I could get a hug.

"Y/N! I missed you" she said in my arms. I laugh and kiss her cheek

"I missed you so much too babe" she pulled away and slapped my arm playfully

"Right I'm driving, get in your highness" I told her as I ran round the car and opened the passenger door, closing it as she got in and walking to the driver's seat.

"Where you taking me babe?" Lauren asked as I got in and started to drive. I smiled at the nickname

"It's a surprise but I can tell you that it is somewhere very special and I think you're going to love it" I told her, she gently grabs my hand and entwines our fingers together , for the rest of the journey we sit in a comfortable silence.

"Right we are here!" I say as I jump out get gently get Lauren out of the car. She looks at me confused. I laugh quietly inside

"There's nothing here" she says confused. I walk up to her "well it would not be a surprise if I dint blindfold you and take you there". I watch for her reaction and she pouts

"Fine but hurry up I wanna start my date" she whines, I laugh and walk behind her and cover her eyes "Let the journey begin" I whisper into her ear as I walk her into the small meadow which earns a small giggle to arise.

"OK here it is" I say as I release my hands from her eyes, she gasps and says "OH my gosh Y/N it's perfect" she squealed. She spun around and hugged me onto me for dear life" thank you so much Y/N It's beautiful. I smiled relieved she loved it. I had set up a night-time picnic in a meadow surrounded by rose petals and nightlights hanging from nearby trees.

"Wow Y/N this is amazing how did you do this" she's asks looking at me. "Well I left work early so I could come and set this all up whilst making some food." I say I look up at Lauren and she beams with excitement. It was adorable.

"Y/N this is the cutest and most romantic thing anyone has ever done for me." She says with tears in her eyes. I smiled a wiped her tears away and kissed her lightly. "well you deserve nothing but the best sweetheart." She smiles and hugs me tightly.

"Look at the stars". I said as I pulled Lauren closer to my body. We were laying down on the picnic blanket in the meadow. Lauren looked up admiring the sky picturing what's outside of the galaxy.

"It's beautiful." Lauren says looking away from the sky and into Y/N's eyes. Y/N leans across and pecks Laurens lips "not as beautiful as you "I say laying back down and pulling Lauren into my chest.

"Those stars up there are shining for you*I say as I kiss Laurens head. She sighs and looks up at me "I like this, just you and me, no one else" she says snuggling into you. You smiled at her confession.

"Well hopefully there will be many more dates like this to come" you say thinking about the green eyed beauty in front of you. Lauren giggles and says "yeah well I hope so Y/N, I'm expecting hundreds of dates to come", you laugh and whisper into her ear" well babe I think there will be more than just dates", you feel her shiver and you grin on the inside.

After a while spend in silence Lauren says "this has been the best date ever Y/N". You smile brightly. "yeah best date ever" you say as you pull her closer to you and get lost into the night sky thinking of the many dates to come.
