She forgets your anniversary (Part 2)

I was absolutely fuming, how could she forget.I make her sleep on the couch for the next week. She tries to apologise but I can't forgive her just yet. Oh no she's gonna have to work hard to get me to forgive her.

I mean she forgot our anniversary! Who the hell forgets that.Our first anniversary together as a couple and she forgot! So I'm giving Lauren the silent treatment as well.I'm going to make it hard for her and after this shell never forget an important date again. i hope.

She's got to try hard.I woke up tired again, I haven't been sleeping well lately.I feel lonely without Lauren, and I get cold at night due to the empty space beside me.I just want to cuddle up to her like I usually do, but I can't.I'm not breaking first.I looked down at my covers and my eyes widened.

My whole duvet was covered in red petals.I was practically bathing in them.Overwhelmed with shock I pull the covers back and put on some slippers.They were pig slippers because I'm classy.And they also oinked as I walked and that's the sound that filled the empty flat as I followed the trail of petals.

I notice Lauren was nowhere to be seen and I wondered if she had anything to do with this.I followed the petals to the kitchen and found a note taped to the fridge. Confused as hell I picked it off and read the words on it.

'Roses are red, violets are blue. I love you, and I'm sorry too. L x'

Oh and did i also mention she's also terrible at rhymes.I flipped the note around and saw more writing on the back.'Go to the parking lot, there's a surprise'

Not caring that I was wearing my pyjamas I hurried out of the door eager to find out what was going on.The parking lot was empty of all cars and I was seriously confused.Everything suddenly went dark and I panicked.

"What the funk are yo-!" I start. "Hey! It's just me!" I hear a familiar voice. The hands uncover my eyes and I turn to face him.

"Lauren? What the hell was that for!" I YELL hitting her arm. "I wanted to surprise you" "Good for you, you succeeded. Now why am I here?" i asked annoyed. "We are going somewhere special" "We aren't going anywhere unless you tell me."

And then she was carrying me over her shoulder and placing me in his car."Oi!"

She slipped in beside me and locked the door so I couldn't get out.I glared at her and folded my arms across my chest. "Just calm down, and give me a chance please" I hear her say sounding slightly desperate.

Wanting to protest but not knowing how I end up just signing in defeat."...Fine" I grumble. In the corner of my eye I see her smile brightly still watching the traffic. I decided to just stare out the window for the rest of the ride. I felt the car stop and looked around.

"A forest? You took me to a forest?" "Give it a chance, Y/N" I stared at her before unbuckling my seat belt and opening the door.

Then I realised something.

"Lauren, I'm only wearing my pyjamas" "And you still look beautiful" I roll my eyes at her and follow her through the forest. We ended up in a beautiful clearing. "Y/N over here" I turn around and find her at a tree.

Going close I realise that there was a platform half way up and a ladder going up the side."Ladies first" she says. "one, your a lady to you idiot and If you kill me I'm coming back to haunt you"

She just laughed and helped me up the first few steps. Once I'd reached the platform I saw more rose petals, followed with candles and a feast of a meal.I was gobsmacked. "What's all this?" I ask.

"I wanted to apologise" "But all this..." "I wanted you to know how much I love you"

"Lauren..."

"No. Y/N, you have no idea how sorry I am for forgetting our anniversary. I don't even know how I could. I was just so focused on work that I forgot about the most important person in my life. I promise you, if you forgive me, I will spend the last long years of my life making it up to you. Just please. I love you"

She looked at me with pleading eyes and I couldn't say no. "I love you too." Her eyes light up. "I'm forgiven?" She asks hopefully. "You are" I laugh. She pulls me into her and kisses me. "that#s not all missy you don#t get off that easily" i say smirking slightly. Lauren's head shoots up looking at me puzzled. "b.but you j.just said" she stutters. "do you want to be forgiven or not" i say stern. "yes" she mumbles looking down.

"to make up for forgetting our anniversary you will have to sleep on the sofa for another week, do al the washing up and cleaning as well as doing all the food shopping" i say feeling happy about my revenge. Lauren looks puzzled and shocked "B.ut baby please that's hard work. I give Lauren a hard glare and she immediately shuts up and sighs "fine. fine I'll do it Jesus only because i love you. i smile in triumph and jump in Lauren's arms

Everything's going to be alright.
