9:19am

You woke up and remember today is a spectacular day. It's you and your girlfriend Lauren's 2 year anniversary. You look beside you to see your perfect green eyed beauty sleeping soundly. The covers were have way up her chest as you start lightly tracing patterns on her arm.

She started to move around so you just laid facing her waiting for her to wake up as she peaked one eye open and looked you in the eye. "Good morning baby" she mumbled sleepily before she stretched her arms above her head, letting out a cute dinosaur groan.

You giggle as she turned on her side to face you. "What?" he grinned? "Just your cute little dinosaur groan" you say as you peck him on the cheek. "You missed" he pouts. You laugh and kiss her other cheek. She groans frustrated and pulls you in for a proper kiss. You kiss her back as she puts her hands on your cheek. She sits up a little to kiss you better, almost getting on top of you as he deepened the kiss.

"Are you excited for today?" you ask after you pull away. "Why wouldn't I be?" she replied as you smile "It's the hamburger eating contest today at Harry's Hamburgers" she says

How could she have forgotten? It was supposed to be one of the best days of my life, this was the day you were going to commit your love for her. And you thought she felt the same way.

"What shall I make the princess for breakfast" Lauren asked getting up and putting on her jeans and shirt." It doesn't matter" you say as you fake a smile and tried to get rid of the hurt look in your eye. "It doesn't matter, anything" you say getting up and going into the bathroom to get ready as Lauren leaves to make some French toast.

Lauren's Pov                                                                                                            

As I hear Y/N brushing her teeth I start making breakfast, bacon and eggs. I place them on the table just as she walks in sits down. "Thanks babe" she grins as she stuffs her mouth full of food. "your welcome Y/N" and might I say you look stunning today" she blushes and looks down at her food.

6:45pm

As Y/N is watching TV I run to the front door and call my friend Matt." Hello "his voice answered. "Hey is everything still a go right" I whispered into the phone. "oh yeah everything's set up" he says. "Thanks Matt this means a lot" you say as you say your goodbyes and put the phone down.

Your Pov

"Baby let's go" Lauren yells waiting at the front door. "Go where" you say as you walk towards her. "To the contest, you're my good luck charm" she says smiling." ok I'm coming" you say as you grab your phone and walk out the door.

As you walked to the car Lauren pulls you back and spins you around and kisses you. You widened your eyes in shock but soon kissed back. You pull away for air and put your forehead against hers, your nose touching and lips millimetres apart. "What was that for" you as out of breath. "What? I can't kiss my girlfriend who I adore" she smirked.

You both get into the car and Lauren starts to drive and grabs your hand. As she drives of you notice you're going the wrong way "Where you going i.its that way" you point.  "Yeah I know" he grins. "Lauren" you playfully say. "What we're taking the long way "she says.

Suddenly Lauren passes you a blindfold "what's that for Lauren" you say. "Come on just put it on Y/N it's a surprise" she says. "fine "you say as you put on the blindfold and get pulled by Lauren and start waling over what feels like gravel and then onto something soft like sand

After a while Lauren suddenly stops you and takes of your blindfold and you see a romantic dinner with rose petals surrounding a set up table. You gasp Lauren, I..it's amazing". "Happy anniversary baby, you didn't think I would forget would you". You run at her and kissed her as hard as you could.

During the dinner Lauren interrupts your speech and says "Ok loo, I think I should let you know I don't like you anymore...."she starts but you don't let her finish and you start to cry. She walks over to you to calm you down and puts your hands into hers. "You didn't let me finish, I don't like you anymore, I love you Y/N" she says. You see her pull out something from her pocket. "Y/F/N (your full name) will you marry me?"

"Yes. Yes. Yes" you scream jumping into her arms and kissing her on the lips. "I love you Y/N" she whispers in your ear. "I love you too" you whisper back. It was a dream come true. Best anniversary ever
