Christmas

I wake up shivering and turn over to see that Lauren had rolled herself up in our duvet. Leaving me freezing my ass off. Cheeky bitch. I debate whether or not to wake her but then realise it is Christmas morning. I softly kiss her cheek, gently trying to wake her up but it appears I am getting nowhere.

I decide on leaving her be for a little while so I can make us some tea and get her present I have stashed away under the kitchen sink.

Stirring the two steaming cups, I feel a pair of arms wrap around my waist.

"Merry Christmas, baby." Lauren whispers in my ear squeezing my waist slightly, sending shivers down my spine.

"Merry Christmas. You were still supposed to be in bed. I came down to make us tea and get your gift." I say, pouting at her. She smiles her emerald Green eyes shinning with happiness and she presses a soft kiss to my cheek before retreating back upstairs.

"I'll go get back to bed then, just grabbing your gift along the way." She says before dashing upstairs in a hurry to get back in bed to the warmth of the covers.

What on earth did she get for me?

Lauren has been going on about not having the right colours of spray paint in her graffiti room, so I have made it my mission for the last few months to buy every single colour of paint I can get my hands on. I have collected quite a few cans. I also had a one of a kind toolbox made where all of the cans fit in, so I wrapped the entire thing in red and green paper, placing a gold bow on top.

I grab the box under one arm and balance the two cups of tea in my other hand before heading upstairs to where Lauren is. i really hope she likes my gift. i nervously make my way upstairs scared out of my mind about to shit myself.

"Wow. That's a big box." Lauren says as she lays eyes on the object I am clinging on to with a excited look in her eyes.

"Yep. I think you're going to like it a lot." I say, placing the box next to her and sliding under the duvet as well."Yours isn't that big but I hope you'll like it too." Lauren says excited, placing a small box, wrapped in the same paper, in my lap.

"OK. Let's open them on three." Lauren says with a chuckle before starting her countdown.

"One,

Two,

Three..." she says and we tear off the paper on our presents simultaneously.

"A toolbox?" Lauren says with confusion, not opening it yet. "Open the box you idiot!" I giggle, waiting for her to open the toolbox before I open the box in my hands.

"Paint! It must have taken you forever to get all these colours!" Lauren says, her eyes completely lit up with joy. "It did but it was totally worth it." I say, smiling as Lauren jumps into my lap and presses millions of soft kiss to my lips. "Your turn now." She says, motioning to the box in my lap.

After tearing away the wrapping paper earlier, I was left with a black jewellery box. It's too big for a ring so I guess she's not proposing but it only makes me more curious to know what's inside.

Prying the box open, I find a beautiful and delicate silver necklace staring back at me. Hanging from the necklace is a small packman symbol and I can't help but tear up.

Lauren and I met at an arcade. She challenged me to a game of packman. obviously i won."I can't believe you remembered." I say, looking up at her with so much love it feels like I am about to burst.

"Of course I remembered. It was the best day of my life." She says and I can't help but fall even more in love with her.

"I love you so much Lauren. Thanks for giving me the best Christmas gift ever." I say, giving her a hug. "your the most amazing girlfriend ever I'm so lucky to have you and you also such at packman" i say bursting out laughing.

"Thank you for giving me the best Christmas ever." She says laughing as well and then I know.

She, Lauren Jauregui is the one.
