The day was finally here. A sense of relief flowed through your body as the realisation of the day settled in your mind. You were about to walk down the isle to become wedded to the love of your life and your best friend, Lauren. The feeling on your wedding day was surreal - nothing like you could've imagined. Thrilling chills shivered your spine as you thought about the rest of your life with Lauren. Loving memories filled your head as you were getting dolled up for your special day. You were never crazy about a lot of makeup and hair products, you preferred the natural look so this was something quite new to you. A soft neutral colour eye shadow masked the skin on your eyelids, while a dark daring black coated your long lashes. A hint of blush on your cheeks and a touch of gloss on your lips finished you off. Your naturally straight hair was softly curled at its ends that rested lightly on your shoulders. The professional spun your chair to face your your maid of honour, Camila. She gasped and small tears formed on her eyelid. "You're beautiful Y/N." She finally said after catching her breath. You smiled. "Camila don't cry cause then I'll cry and I cannot mess up this make up" you joke and you both laugh. Camila embraces you in a hug. You inhaled the sweet sugary smell of her perfume and felt her thin but loving arms enclosed around you.

"Now, lets get you into that dress!" Camila shrieked with excitement pulling away from the hug and grabbing your hand leading you to your dress. You slipped on your elegant wedding dress. As you felt the fabric of the dress glide over your skin you were in a daze of happiness. You stare at yourself in the large mirror that's reflecting your princess look. Everyone around you smiled when you turned and posed in the dress. Tears were shed and hands were clapped. The way you felt in that dress was indescribable and that's when you knew that this was going to be a day out of the book of a fairy tale - almost too good to be true.

Two hefty knocks on the door echoed in the room. Your dad entered with his eyes closed "am I allowed to look yet?" he chuckled. "Yes" you softly said grinning from ear to ear. As soon as he laid his eyes on you he began to tear. You've never seen your dad come even close to crying so this was emotional. "Don't cry dad!" you exclaim walking over to him and wiping the tears from his eyelids. He looked at your in awe, "Y/N you leave me speechless." He said making you feel warm inside. He then embraces you in a big bear hug like he always did. You felt at home in his arms, the warmth and love was unconditional. You pull away, "how's Lauren doing? Is she okay?" you question, a flash of anxiety overwhelms your face. "Of course, of course she is sweetheart, she's so excited to see you, how are you holding up?" he smiled and asked as he continued to examine you up and down.

"Honestly dad, I feel like I'm in heaven." you admit as you lose yourself in your high.

"As you should feel." He smirked, "today is a such a beautiful day." you nod smiling. "c'mon baby girl it's time for you to get married." Your dad said. You take in a deep breath paying close attention to how the large amounts of oxygen fill your lungs and how your chest expands. As you exhale your mind is settled and open, ready for it all.

Arm in arm you and your father made it to the ceremony. You two stood outside the double doors that leads to the beginning of the isle to the alter. Excitement and anxiety overwhelmed you while waiting for the first note to play signalling the start to your bridal walk.

The first note played - you swear it was the most beautiful note you'd ever heard. The doors open to reveal the crowd before you, but your eyes shut everything out and focus on Lauren. The brunette stood tall, confident, and content. Smiling from ear to ear as she saw you start to retreat down the isle towards her, she was unable to keep her gaze off of you. You smile and widen your eyes at her she widens her eyes then mouth's 'oh my god' you let out a small laugh trying to stay composed. So classic of Lauren to joke at the alter of her own wedding, but then again that's why you were marrying her.

You finally made it to Lauren. Your dad kissed your cheek and shook Lauren's hand. Then Lauren took yours in hers and helped you onto the platform where the priest was. The feeling of her callused fingers softly wrapped around your delicate thin fingers was perfect. Lauren leaned down and whispered in your ear, "you look beautiful." You blush and gaze into her beautiful green orbs.

The ceremony went on, the priest said his words, you two recited your vows, then the moment that sealed everything came. Following your 'I do's' the priest loudly declared, "I now pronounce you Wife and Wife, you may kiss your bride!" Even the priest couldn't help but grin his widest grin at the sight of you two. Lauren took you by the waist then softly said, "here's the best part Mrs. Jauregui" you smiled then before you knew it Lauren placed her warm plump lips atop yours. her lips moved softly against yours shortly before detaching and staring back down at you. The two of you turned at faced the audience of family and friends. They cheered throwing their hands up, letting tears fall, and hands clap. Lauren took your hand in hers and led you down the isle outside of the ceremony and to the start of the long life the two of you would live together.
