It had been two months since you had stopped working for Lauren. Looking around your new apartment you sighed and started picking up the empty boxes making a pile by the door. Walking towards your bedroom you picked up the box that was by the door and placed it gently on the door. Looking through it you bit down on your lip as you pulled out a grey tie. Turning it over you examined the material before placing it gently on the bed. Sitting down on the bed you continued going through the box. Sighing quietly at you pulled out a knitted bracelet. Staring down at you you twirled it in your fingers and frowned before placing it next to the grey tie.

"Throw it away" you heard a soft voice say. Looking up you stared at your roommate and nodded your head before tossing the tie and the bracelet into the green trashcan by your bed. "You don't need stuff like that to keep reminding you of her" she added. Biting on your lip you kept your eyes on the trash and sighed nodding slightly "Come on let's get something to eat" she said. Rubbing your thighs softly you pushed yourself of the bed and followed the red haired girl. "Where are we going" you asked as you slipped on your shoes and grabbed your purse from the table.  "There's a little diner just down the street" she muttered. "Wait I need my wallet" you said as you looked through your purse. Running back to your room you grabbed the wallet from the night stand and sighed as you stared at the trashcan. Leaning down you picked up the tie and bracelet setting them gently on the night stand. "Ready" she asked. Nodding you smiled at her and closed the door behind you as you two headed down the to the diner.

A giggled left your lips as you looked around the diner.  "You aren't over it are you" she asked as she took a sip from her drink. Looking at her you raised your eyebrow.  "What" you asked playing softly with the napkin in front of you. "You're not over her" she replied as she stared at you.  "I am" you replied staring down "I just thought that I was someone special to her and that I could have changed her" you muttered knowing it sounded stupid "But she's the type of person you cant change" you added looking over at her "I loved my job but, I couldn't be around her" you said. She nodded and stared at you.  "Well you start your new job soon" she said a smile on her face.  "Yeah, maybe once I start this I will forget about it. Focusing on the work will help" you replied smiling sweetly before taking a sip from your drink.  "You wont have to see her will you" she asked. Shaking your head quickly you set the drink down.  "I don't see why, they're different companies and I don't handle any of the meetings" you said "And even if I did run into her its not going to change anything" you added.

Fixing the grey skirt you stepped inside the office and smiled at the girl at the front desk.
"I'm here to see Miss. Hansen" you said, she nodded her head and stood up. She disappeared down the hallway, tapping your hand softly on your thigh you looked around the office. Looking at all the awards and recognition's that were hanging on the wall.  "Ms. Y/L/N" you heard her say, looking over you smiled at the brunette women standing in front of you "Come join us, we are just having a meeting" she said as she put her hand out motioning for you to make your way down the hallway. Nodding quickly you followed him towards the room in the back. Looking around you noticed the curly headed man you had seen at Miss.Jauregui office multiple times and the blonde hair "I think you know Camila Cabello" you heard Miss. Hansen say. Nodding you smiled and shook her hand "Please take a seat" she added, sitting down next to the brunette headed women you played nervously with the hem of your skirt.

This was weird you were use to seeing them but never talked with them about business before. Miss. Jauregui did all the business, you were just along to take notes and make sure everything went right. You were her right hand man you knew all the rules about business and you would only speak up when something seemed off. "Miss, Cabello here has a music company" she said making you looked over at her nodding slightly "She wants our help with her business, she wants to be able to work with a company in London" she added. Leaning slightly on the table you listened carefully "We've never made a deal with a company outside of America. On the other hand Lauren's company has and you were there through out the whole thing" she said, you could tell she felt awkward mentioning Miss. Jauregui's name to you.

"Have you contacted this company before" you asked looking over at Miss. Cabello "Miss" you quickly said making them chuckle.  "None of that Miss or Miss. Cabello my name is Camila" she giggled blushing you nodded your head "But to answer you question, we have only talked on the phone" she added "I am flying out to London this weekend with Dinah, would you be free to come along" she asked.

"I would love to but I wont be able to" you said quickly, knowing how much a ticket to London it
"All expenses paid" said Miss. Hansen looking over at you.  "It's not that Miss. Hansen" you said looking over at her  "It's Dinah" she chuckled "And I know why but, we need you there" she added. Sighing you nodded slightly and looked over at them "Our plane leaves at 2. Would you like me to pick you up" she asked  "I can have my roommate drop me off" you said, she nodded her head and smiled at you before Miss Cabello stood up.

A giggled left your lips as you walked with Miss. Hansen. She looked over at you and smiled bigger.  "It's true" she laughed as she opened the glass doors for you. Nodding at her you stepped inside and looked around.
"Miss Cabello is meeting us here" you asked before looking at Dinah. She nodded her head before taking your hand. Blushing you bit down on your lip and stared down at your hand in her's.  "This way" she said before she tugged softly on your hand leading you down the long hallway "Now Ms. Y/L/N you might hate me after this" she said, looking over at her you raised your eyebrow. Stepping inside the office you bit down on your lip. Staring at the brown haired women, her back was to your but you knew her anywhere. You knew exactly who she was.

"Dinah" you whispered turning to face the brunette who stood behind you.  "I know I said you wouldn't have to deal with her business but she also works with Camila, they have been doing business since the begging, she needs to be here" she whispered as she placed her hands on your shoulder "It will be a short meeting and we can leave as soon as it over. Camila  just really needs your help. This will take her company to the next level" she added. Nodding you looked over and started at the brunette haired women. She was begging you with her eyes.

Sighing you closed your eyes before you turned around. Looking around you found a spot and sat down. You watched as she spun her chair, her emerald green eyes landed on you. Watching as she played with his nose ring she raised her eyebrow and leaned forward on her chair. Her hands landing on the table as she crossed them, she couldn't take her eyes off of you.

"Ms. Y/L/N" she whispered before she looked over at Miss. Hansen. "What are you doing here" she asked as she turned her attention back to you.  "I work for Dinah" you muttered before looking down at your the papers in front of you.  "Dinah" she asked, you watched from the corner of your eyes as she stared at the women next to you.  "We are here to do business Lauren" said Dinah looking over at the brunette man.

"We need to talk" she said bitterly as she gripped your arm tugging you down the hallway
"Miss Jauregui get your hands off of me" you spat trying to get out of her grip, she tugged you towards the women's bathroom and looked around before she locked the door.  "Why the hell are you working for Dinah" she spat as she stared at you.

"Why doesn't it matter Miss Jauregui. Dinah and I get along well and we work well together" you said staring at her. "Dinah?" she asked laughing "You call him Dinah" she added looking over at you "Are you also sleeping with her to get a better position" she laughed. "I don't have to sleep with someone to get a better position my work does that for me" you spat glaring at her.
"You slept with me to get a better position and for the money, is that what you are doing with Dinah, I see how she looks at you" she said as she ran her fingers through her hair. You rolled your eyes and stared at her.

"No I didn't Miss Jauregui. I slept with you because I had feelings for you" you said watching as she gulped and stared at you "It was never for a better position and it sure as hell wasn't for the money" you whispered "If it was for the money I would have taken the house you offered me" you added. She stared at you and bit down on her lip. "But then again I was just like every other girl according to you. It doesn't surprise me that you think I did it for the money" you said unlocking the door you stepped out.

You froze as you stared at Dinah, she looked behind you and raised her eyebrow as she watched Miss Jauregui stepping out. "Are you alright" she asked as she turned to you, nodding you smiled slightly at her. "Can we just go" you asked, she nodded her head and put her hand out to you. Taking her hand you gave it a small squeeze and walked out with Miss. Hansen. Looking back you noticed Miss Jauregui glaring at her best friend, you could see the anger in her face as she focused on your hand that was tangled with Dinah's.
