Lauren's POV
"Ok, Lauren . I need you and the extra to get closer and act friendly. We really need to feel the vibe for this video." The director says, shoving me in the direction of some brunette girl.
She's really pretty. "Start the music!" the director yells and we start the song. I stay near the brunette girl and try my best to create chemistry that will be apparent in the video. As the video progresses, the director motions for me to edge even closer to the girl. I do as I am told.
We move around and I stare into her eyes as I sing my lines. Seconds before Camila sings the last solo, closing the song, I hear the director's piercing voice. "Lauren! Kiss the brunette." He yells. I don't object and get closer to the girl. I forget about my girlfriend for a second and press my lips against the girl's. After the director yells cut for that take, the pretty brunette wraps her arms around my waist, taking my phone.
I wrap my arms around her shoulders in return. "I put my number in your phone." I hear the brunette girl whisper as she shoves my phone in the back pocket of my jeans. "We should get together some time." I whisper back, caught up in the moment. I see the girl's gaze shift to something behind me and I turn just in time to see the girl I love walk out of the room, tears welling up in her eyes. Shit. What did I just do?
I invite her here to spend the day with me and instead of paying attention to her I kissed another girl. While she was watching me. I turn to run after her but the producer yells for another take and people start pulling me towards the set. I struggle but I know there is no way they are letting me off this set to go fix some girlfriend troubles. We work for another hour on several takes and I had to kiss the brunette girl again. I can't help but feel incredibly guilty. "That's a wrap! Thanks everyone." The director yells and we all gather our stuff to head to the hotel.
I reach for my phone and type in my girlfriend's number. It rings several times but she doesn't answer. I try again and she still doesn't answer. I must have made her really mad. She never ignores my calls. I try texting her but she doesn't answer those either. Am I losing the girl of my dreams over some stupid mistake? I rush over to the hotel room that we share and swipe my key card to enter.
Stepping into the room I can tell something is not right. I hear soft sniffles coming from the bedroom. I walk over and gently try twisting the handle only to find that the door is locked.
How am I going to fix this?
