I pushed down my school uniform and stumbled over to Makoto, who was waiting for me by a park bench. He looked at me and smiled as I tightened my ponytail holding my long dark hair.

"Hi" I mumbled smiling.

"Hi okay, so um-" he chuckled nervously.

"I was wondering if you-"

He kept stuttering and fumbling around with his fingers making awkward eye contact with me. I felt heat rushed to my cheeks as I stared at him waiting for him to spill his feelings for me.

"Would you go to my cousins wedding with me?" He said excitedly.

I dropped my hands and looked at him with a slightly dropped jaw. I sighed and lowered my head.

"When is it?"

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"Nothing, it's nothing" I replied shaking my head as I blushed in embarrassment.

"It's the 20th of July" he scratched the back of his head and rolled on the back of his heals.

"Oh um yeah sure-" I shrugged kind of angry that that's what he wanted to talk to me about.

"Are you sure you're okay?" He asked holding my shoulder.

I looked up into his eyes and started to break down right on the spot. I shook my head and rubbed my eyes from the tears.

"W-What's wrong?" He said pulling me into a hug.

"I just thought- I just thought you were gonna ask me-"

"Ask you if you wanted to be my girlfriend?" He finished for me.

I looked at him confused but nodded for his response.

"Well now you ruined it" he chuckled scratching the back of his head.

"What?" I muttered.

"I was gonna ask you at the wedding because you know it's more romantic but-"

I squealed and jumped on his hugging his neck tightly. He hugged me back nuzzling his face in my hair sighing audibly. I could feel his smile on my neck.

"I really do like you Kaiyo, I have since we were kids"

"Oh Makoto..." I mumbled giggling a bit.

"Makoto! Kaiyo! Hey!" I heard Nagisa's voice from behind.

I jumped down and saw the group of guys walking towards us. I smiled and Makoto took my hand into his.

"Hey guys this is my friend Eve, you guys wanna go lazer tagging?" Rei asked pointing his thumb behind him.

"Sure, oh Eve this is my girlfriend Kaiyo" Makoto introduced me.

My mouth dropped and so did everyone else's. I blushed anyways and snuggled my head into his arm.

"Nice to meet you" Eve said taking my free hand and shaking it.

I greeted her back kindly and smiled. We all walked towards the laser tag ring and paid for it. It was Makoto, Haru, Eve. Then Me, Rei, and Nagisa. We all put our gear on and I started to get nervous. Makoto smirked and nodded at me making me blushed.
