I saw a bunch of commotion going on around our pool area and I began to panic. I ran over with Kaiyo to our team and saw everyone in fear and amazement. I looked up and saw Aiichiro standing at the top of the building on edge. 

"What's going on here!?" I shouted gripping one of my teammate's shirt. 

"Aii, is gonna jump. He says he can't take it anymore" he replied scared.

I scoffed and got closer past the cops and everyone surround them.

"Aii what're you doing!?" 

"I'm sorry sir! I just- I just can't take it anymore!" he shouted back down wiping away his tears. 

I felt Kaiyo's presence next to me and she had tears running down her own face. 

"Please don't Aii, please come down!" she shouted almost trembling. 

"Come on down Aii, it's gonna be alright" I continued.

He shook his head and closed his eyes gripping his jacket. He ripped it off and threw it off letting it float down. It landed by the door and gasped. 

"Aii don't fucking do it!"I shouted in anger.

"But I'm worthless! Just like my father tells me I am!" he cried back at me.

"You're fathers' opinion is worthless! You mean something to this team! You're a great addition" I replied.

I felt Kaiyo's hand slip into mine and I intertwined our fingers. 

He shook his head and took one step off falling down and crashing into the pavement. Everyone screamed as we turned our heads. Police were shouting to stand back but I saw Kaiyo crying to Aii reaching for him as I held her back in my arms. I had tears streaming down my own and face and my heart broke into a million pieces.

"Aii!" she shouted crying worse than I've ever seen.

"Kaiyo, it's okay, shh-" I whispered holding her head in my chest as she reached out for him. 

She sobbed continuously in my arms as I pushed back my maroon hair trying to hide the tears. Why Nitori. Why? You were our friend, our teammate, our family. You had so much going on for you and you threw away on your stupid fucking fathers' opinion. He doesn't know how hard you worked because he never bothered to come to a meet. That fucking bastard. 

"Why Aii, no no-" Kaiyo cried as we collapsed to the ground. 

I held her closely wiping away the rest of my tears that fell.

"Everyone go home!" the police shouted carrying Aiichiro's body to the ambulance and sending him away. 

I saw his family standing there with pale faces. His father was expressionless and he looked at me as I gripped my hands on the back of Kaiyo's shirt gasping for air. I couldn't breathe. It didn't make any sense to me and I thought I was gonna burst.

After the commotion I got a couple calls from people asking what went down exactly. I told them the truth and heard a knock at my bedroom door. I got up and walked over seeing Kaiyo standing there in her pj's tears streaming down her cheeks. I put on a shirt and looked at her worried.

"C-Can I sleep with you tonight? I can't fall asleep" she sniffled.

Kai hasn't been happy in a really long and it's bringing her down. How are we gonna deal with this as a team? How am I gonna deal with this as his friend?

I nodded and let her in closing the door behind her. She glided her hand along the dresser and saw the picture of me and Iwatobi team hugging and cheering when we were kids. She smiled and set it down looking back at me. 

"Are you okay?" I asked worried.

"No are you?" she sighed sitting on my bed.

I shook my head and sighed too sitting on the ground with a blanket and pillow for myself. 

"Why do bad things happen to good people?" she asked.

I shook my head and played with my fingers silently.

"Goodnight Kai" I mumbled laying down on the ground.

She stared at me and blinked. 

"Rin?" she muttered nervously. "Could you sleep up here with me on the bed please"

My eyes widened and looked at her confused. I finally gave in and crawled into the bed with her as she wrapped her arms around me. I did the same and sighed nuzzling my head into hers. I kissed the top of it and sighed audibly. 

"Rin?" she asked.

"Hmm" I hummed back.

"Aiichiro was my best friend, and I miss him" she sniffled.

"Me too" 

She hugged my waist tighter and huffed laying her head on my chest. She crawled up to my lips and stared at me for a moment. Her bright eyes made me shiver and I didn't know what she was gonna do. She gripped the back of my head and kissed my cheek slowly. Then she looked at me again and slowly pressed her lips on mine. Sparks and shivers ran through my body and I felt relief roll off my shoulders. Was this happening right now? 

I wrapped my arms around her waist pressing my lips on hers even harder. She climbed on my lap and tangled her fingers in my hair. 

"Rin" she panted.

"Hmm? What?" I asked excitedly.

"I need you" she whispered resting her forehead on mine. 

I looked at her and raised an eyebrow. I nodded and pulled both of our shirts off. She kissed me as I un-clutched her bra which made me nervous. I wasn't suspecting this to happen and it was right here and right now.

"Kaiyo" I panted holding her cheeks. 

She gasped and laid her head on my chest. She held onto my shoulders like she was out of breathe. She rolled off and crawled into a ball beginning to cry.

"What's wrong?" I asked kissing her shoulder.

"I'm so in love it's hurting me" 

I knew she was talking about Makoto and this wasn't the right time at all to be doing this. I felt horrible and turned around immediately hating myself.

"I'm sorry Rin" she whimpered.

"I'm sorry too" I blushed covering my face in embarrassment.

"I wasn't expecting you to be taking my virginity" she replied.

"I know I'm sorry, I got ahead of myself you were my first time too-" I sighed.

"Really?" 

"Yeah"

"Good..." was the last thing I heard from her.
