*Kaiyo's POV*

"Go Makoto!" I shouted jumping up and down excitedly in the stands.

He pulled his cap on and winked at me making me blush. I sat back down in my seat and waited for the whistle to blow.

They jumped into the water swimming fast towards the end of the pool. I cheered loudly for Makoto and felt my heart racing.

"You can do it!" I shouted.

He was so fast. I didn't know he was this good of a swimmer. He was always my partner in relay races when we younger so I knew he was fast. I closed my eyes and saw him standing there looking proud of himself.

"And the winner of the race is... Tachibana Makoto!" The announcer chuckled raising Mako's hand in the air.

I cheered loudly and jumped over the fence to go and greet him. He looked at me and chuckled grabbing my waist and lifting me in the air. He let me down and pressed his lips on mine. I jumped and cupped his face deepening the kiss.

"Congrats Mako!" The boys said jumping on his back and patting it lightly.

I smiled and blushed rocking on my heals. He winked at me wrapping his jacket around me. The blue fabric made me shiver and I almost exploded from excitement. I hugged it and sighed in relief.

"Awe! Look at her she's blushing so bad" Nagisa teased me.

I rolled my eyes and tried to pull off calmness around them.

Makoto walked me home and I was still wearing his blue and white jacket that had his first name on the front and his school name on the back. I shuffled my tennis shoes a bit. We stopped in front of my house and I sighed.

"Congrats again" I smiled taking his jacket and handing it to him.

"No you keep it" he said handing it back to me.

I titled my head at him.

"My girlfriend is better at representing me than I am" he said scratching the back of his head.

"Makoto..." I mumbled.

"Goodnight Kai" he said kissing my lips and shoving his hands in his pockets.

"Goodnight" i sighed smiling in a loving way.

He always makes my stomach flutter when he talks to me. I just wanna hug him and kiss him all over he's just so damn cute.

"Yo nice jacket Hamano!" I heard Rin's voice from next door.

I stepped down from the porch and saw he had his bag probably from practice. I smiled and waved at him. He smiled back and walked inside as did I. I saw my mom cleaning the kitchen counter and my dad fell asleep on the chair with the newspaper covering his face. I set my bag down next to the door and took my shoes off.

"Ooo look at your jacket! Iwatobi girlfriend right here!" My mom hollered walking over to me and spinning me in a circle.

I chuckled and blushed.

"That's so cute he gave you his jacket. He really is your boyfriend Kaiyo" my mom giggled grabbing my hands.

I nodded sighing staring down at his name on the jacket. I told my parents goodnight and walked up the stairs. I heard my phone go off in my purse and grabbed it seeing I got a text from Makoto.

It was a picture of me smiling wearing his jacket talking to Haru and them. I didn't even know he took this picture of me.

My beautiful girlfriend looks better in this than I do. Goodnight

"Oh my god" I blushed covering my face.

He makes my heart skip a beat every time he talks to me. How did I get so lucky to date such a wonderful person. I laid down on my bed hugging the jacket and breathing in his sweet scent. I closed my eyes and accidentally fell asleep with it in my arms.

"Oh my god isn't she precious" I heard Gou whispered.

I moaned and rubbed my eyes seeing Gou and Rin standing at the bottom of my bed staring at me. I screamed and jumped up.

"What are you two doing?!" I shouted angrily.

"We were wondering if you wanted to go get lunch" Rin chuckled back.

I sighed and rubbed my eyes again. I shooed them out and got some new clothes on. I walked down the stairs and saw Rin look at me with his mouth slightly ajar. I titled my head in confusion but shrugged it off as we all walked towards town.

"You look nice Kai, don't you think Rin?" Gou smiled at me.

I turned to him and he blushed a bit.

"Yeah I guess" he tried to play it cool but I crossed my arms over my chest in embarrassment.

I skipped down the last few steps and we all walked out together laughing about the jokes we were telling. I would catch Rin staring at me with a smile on his face and it would make me blush. I looked around town and saw Makoto's dirty blonde hair standing taller than most of them. I gasped and ran over to him grabbing his hand. He jumped and got excited when he saw me.

"What are you doing?!" he asked chuckling.

"Gou and Rin were getting lunch with me" I smiled.

"Oh let's go say hi guys" he said waving them over as we all walked back over to the maroon haired pair.

"Hey Rin, Gou, how are you guys?" Makoto smiled kindly.

"Hey Tachibana, not much, how bout you" Rin said rolling his eyes. 

He was trying to be nice and that's all that matters to me. I sighed and gave him a small glare.

"Isn't your big relay against Makoto soon?" Nagisa added.

We looked at each other and shrugged nodding a bit.

"What happens if either of you win?" 

"Then we'll be happy for each other of course" I smiled.

He nodded in agreement wrapping his arm around me. Rin crossed his arms and rolled his eyes at us. 

"Rin you're up against Haru at the race too huh?" Gou said.

We all looked at them and they shrugged at the same time. I stuck my tongue out at Rin and he did it back. We both chuckled and Makoto looked down at me jealous. I blushed hugging his waist tighter. 

"Well we gotta head back, we have practice" Rei smiled finally speaking up.

"Yeah we better go too we have a meeting at the pool" Rin cleared his throat nodding to me to come near Gou and him.

I tilted my head, kissed Makoto's cheek, and saw Rin's face turn pale. 

"Are you okay?" I mumbled to him.

"Just feeling a little sick that's all" he sighed.

I patted his shoulder and we all went our separate ways. I wonder why Rin got sick all of the sudden. He didn't look very pleased but at least he was being nice and I appreciate that from him. 

I nudged him and looked down at me. 

"Thanks" 

"For what?" he chuckled.

I shook my head and walked further ahead of him.
