"Kaiyo" I panted swimming faster through the water reaching the end.

The sun was coming up and I climbed out of the pool rolling on the ground facing the ceiling as I watched the big ceiling fans move around in a circle. I sighed and felt my eyes slowly close.

"Rin? Rin?" I heard a small sweet voice.

I jolted up and looked around seeing my team scattered and looking at me confused. I jumped up and started to shiver. Kaiyo looked at me and sneezed loudly making everyone step back.

"You shouldn't be sleeping on the cold ground you idiot" she giggled helping me to my feet.

She wrapped a blanket around me and smiled a little trying to lighten to mood between us.

"Can we talk?" I sniffled.

She nodded and guided me to the meeting room. I locked the door behind me and sighed. We sat down separately and she almost started crying on me again. It broke my heart seeing her like this. I grabbed her hand and sighed.

"I'm sorry about what I said. I didn't mean it and you know that. I know I'm selfish but I seriously can't lose you because you're all that I have I don't know what to do when you leave..." I sniffled again looking at the table.

"this isn't you Rin" she shook her head coldly.

"What do you mean?" I asked confused.

"You didn't have feelings for anything but swimming and now you're backing out of doing anything to make your dream or life come true just because you love me more than you love swimming"

"How do you figure? Huh?! Why would you think that just because we got together that I'm not just as good swimmer as Sousuke or Haru or you?!"

"Because I just see it in your swimming! It's my fault you're so out of it! I was so in love with you I didn't realize what you truly love is swimming and I took it away from you just like that. I guess I'm really the selfish one here..." She scoffed looking down at her feet.

"No!" I shouted standing up letting the blanket fall.

"No?" She asked.

I grabbed her hands and held them in mine gently as tears fell down her eyes. She stood up staring up at me.

"I love you more than swimming but that doesn't mean that I will stop swimming do you understand me?! You are the love of my life and swimming is my passion! Okay?! So don't ever think that alright?" I said staring at her trembling face.

She nodded as I pressed my lips on hers. I let go of her hands pushing her up against the table. She deepened the kiss by wrapping her arms around my neck.

"Wait I'm sick" I said with a groggy throat.

"Like I care" she rolled her eyes kissing me once again.

I chuckled and took off her bathing suit easily leaving her naked in front of me I dropped my swimming gear on the ground grinding my hips into hers. She moaned and covered her mouth knowing the teams outside waiting for us to stop fighting. I slid in slowly and she rolled her neck scratching at my back.

"I-I love having-" she moaned.

"I love you" I replied kissing her cheek.

She looked at me stunned and kissed my lips hard as I slid out panting heavily laying on the floor with her. I grabbed her hand and sighed kissing the top of it. She rolled over to face me as I pushed a lock of hair out of her eyes.

"I love you too Matsuoka Rin" she replied coming closer to my face to push a piece of hair out of my own face and kissing my lips lightly.

"I'm sorry about everything, but I'm determined to go to that damn school with you even if it's kills me, because I'm not gonna let some Australian sweep you off your feet as long as I'm alive" I said pounding my chest as I stood up to put my pants on.

She rolled her eyes and put her swimsuit on taking the towel from the ground and throwing it at my chest.

"I don't know how, but it's so hard to stay mad at someone so arrogant and hot at the same time" she said strutting over and rubbing the top of my head like I was a little kid.

I shrugged and chuckled.

"What can I say? I have a way with the ladies"

She scoffed and rolled here eyes as we walked out laughing. Everyone was practicing minding their own business and I saw the Iwatobi team walking in with confidence. I lifted my chin as Haru and Makoto approached me.

"Hey guys" I nodded.

"How's Kai?" Nagisa asked worried.

"We're fine now" I replied.

"Really because it seemed like yesterday that she didn't want nothing to do with you" Haru replied with no facial expression.

I chuckled and patted his shoulder.

"We fixed it, nothing for you to worry about" I smiled. "And nothing for you to sweep off her feet Prince Makoto"

He rolled his eyes and crossed his arms over his chest. Kaiyo walked over and said hi to everyone. She told everyone that she's gonna be leaving after the Nationals race and won't see everybody for a while. I chocked on my spit staring at her sadly. She smiled and me and grabbed my hand.

"And Rin might be a runner up for the next place"

"Really?! That's so cool!" Rei replied.

"Yeah we knew you had it in you Rin!" Nagisa included.

I smiled and saw my team get ready to head home. I ran over to them and told them Nationals is in about two weeks so everyone should keep their heads up and stay on track.

I looked at Sousuke especially because he looks determined but I'm farther ahead of him. I have to win and get that last spot on the team or I'll lose her and swimming forever.
