Chapter 23 (Yasmin's P.O.V)

~Yasmin's P.O.V~

I woke up and headed downstairs. I replied to my sister's text and waited for my brother to get ready. When we neared the school he walked off to his friends; I carried on walking. We had 5 minutes till school started so I decided to talk to Shane. I know he's gay but whenever I'm around him I start to feel nervous, I've hidden it well from the others but just like they found out about my other crushes they'll find out about this one sooner or later. I just hope it's never.

Sasha and Ben walked over, so did Aisha. While they were talking I saw Luke talking to some other girl. It hurt but not as much as when I first found out he had a girlfriend, come to think about it I don't like him as much as I used to. I didn't even like his eyes as much as loved Shanes. Wow, hold up where did that come from? Did I just compare Luke to Shane? I think I just did. "Yasmin? Yasmin?" I saw Aisha waving her hand in front of my face.

"What?" I asked noticing all eyes were on me, I hope they don't find out what I was thinking about.

"You were thinking about Luke again weren't you?" Sasha said looking at me. I looked at Shane but he seemed annoyed and wasn't looking at me. He'll never like a girl like me let alone love. Besides it's not like its ever going to happen anyway. "Yasmin?" Sasha asked again.

"Oh um yeah, sorry I just remembered I had detention with him tonight," I replied.

"Yeah, sure we believe you." Aisha said glaring at me. "We need to talk." She said looking at me oh no. The bell rang and I sighed in relief. We headed to form but someone pulled me to the side. I was going to call Aisha's name when they spoke.

"Hey, Yasmin." It was Luke. Why is he doing this? "Hey can we talk?" He said looking at me while everyone else walked past.

"I've got to go the bells gone." I pulled away from him. Normally I would have been happy that he wanted to talk to me, but I guess since I saw him flirting with another girl it annoyed me.

"Yasmin?" I heard him say one more time but I started walking to my form. Somewhere in the crowd I saw Shane looking right at me but once I locked eyes with him, he carried on walking; it felt like he was ignoring me. He looked slightly annoyed I wonder what's up with him. I saw Aisha waiting for me so I walked to her.

"He wanted to talk, I ignored him." I replied answering her unasked question, she nodded her head and we made our way to form. The others were already sitting down.

"Looks like you only just made it on time Yasmin." Mrs Turner said. I nodded my head.

"You would have been here earlier if Luke hadn't stopped you." I heard Shane mumble.

"So what did 'he' want?" Sasha asked once I sat down.

"He wanted to talk but I told him I had to get to form." I replied, she nodded her head.

The bell went for next lesson. We grabbed our bags and I walked with Sasha to her lesson before going to mine. I talked to Aisha and Sasha while they waited to their teacher. I noticed Jason kept looking at me but was also talking to Shane. Sasha and Aisha noticed as well. After a while, I left for my lesson.

I put my things away and sat down. "I see you've finally joined us." Mrs said. It was break. I saw my cousin walking past.

"Ben you staying in?" I asked.

"No, why?" He replied getting his bag.

"Can you tell the others I'll be with my cousin and that I'll meet them at lunch?" I asked, calling my cousin to wait for me.

"Sure." My cousin and I then went to find her friends but on the way, I saw Emma. She walked past smirking at me.

"Bitch." My cousin coughed and laughed, I smiled at her. We carried on walking till we got to her friends and went to go sit on the languages stairs. Time passed and someone walked past but then turned around.
