Chapter 12 (Shane's P.O.V)

~Shane's P.O.V~

I woke up just as my alarm went off; I quickly got ready and headed downstairs. I had my breakfast and headed out the house. I made it to school before the bell rang. I saw Yasmin not that far off, that's when I remembered I was going to ignore her.

I heard Mrs say "Did you get a detention?" I turned to see who she was talking to and saw Yasmin.

"Made it just in time." She replied catching her breath. Adam just walked in. She sat down next to me. "Hey," she smiled.

"Hey," everyone else said. I knew she was looking at me but I looked the other way.

I ignored her every attempt to talk to me while she talked to her friends. It was starting to get on my nerves so I said well yelled to her "shut the hell up and leave me alone. If I don't want to talk to you then I don't have to!" Only our table heard.

"Ok sorry, I didn't know. I guess today just isn't my day. First I wake up late now this." She said turning around to face Sasha. Ok, now I feel bad. Wait it's just her plan.

"You ok?" Sasha asked her.

"Yeah like I said today isn't my day plus the days only just started." She said. By the end of form I had engineering next and so I walked down to lesson since Mrs Brown showed me where that was on the first day. I waited by the door for the teacher to come and talked to Jason, I could tell we were becoming really good friends. I faintly heard Sasha say "Hey don't let it bring you down, remember the days just begun. He must have something on his mind." Just then I saw Mr Cole. I heard Yasmin tell Sasha she would be in art again like every Thursday for break and left.

Throughout the lesson Jason helped me out we were chatting when Yasmin's friends walked up to us, they didn't look so happy.

Sasha asked, "Shane can we talk to you?"

"Um, sure." I replied already guessing it might have something to do with Yasmin. She probably told them about what happened at my house yesterday.

"Uh oh someone's in trouble." Jason joked I just gave him a weird look, he just smirked. For some odd reason, I didn't feel as attracted to him like I did on my second day; I just ignored it.

"How come you're ignoring Yasmin and yelled at her when she was just asking if you were ok? Because it's making her upset and we don't like it when someone upsets our friend." Aisha glared at me.

"She's upset?" I asked surprised. But why would she be upset?

"Yes, and whatever it is you better sort it out with her." Sasha warned, I think I might.

"Ok, I'll talk to her." I said.

"You better at break." Aisha threatened me and mouthed 'or I'll spread your little secret.' I glared at her and went back to work. Why's Yasmin upset?

When the bell rang for break I got my bag and followed after Aisha and Sasha since I didn't know where art was. I walked in behind them and they glared at me. I walked over to Yasmin. I was aware she was looking at me but I kept my head down wondering what I was going to ask her.

When I got to the table I looked up. "Can I talk to you?" I asked.

"Sure." She replied, I realised she was waiting for me to sit down. What here in front of her friends, I'd rather it be in privet.

I looked around at her friends who were all listening then back to her. "Alone?" I asked nervously.

She got up and said "ok," we headed for the door, I shut the door behind me. I saw her look behind me, I did the same and saw Luke with a girl. Is that his girlfriend? Damn there goes my chance, not that I had a chance anyway. "What did you want to talk about and what's up?" She asked looking back at me.
