It's odd,
don't you think?
When you've been in love for years,
but you're tired of them hurting you.
Then someone comes along,
and you just feel a connection,
all over again.
Life sucks, but then
we're all too young to fall in love.
But this person that just came across my life,
He's pretty helpful, he makes me laugh,
smile, and just be happy in general,
just like the person 'I love' used to do that.
