Before you said hello to me,
Could you see the darkness in my eyes?
Even if you didn't,
I noticed I was letting you in.
The darkness started to fade away,
As we just enjoyed life together.
Before I knew it,
I put all my walls down for you to come wander.
Just right when I put my guard down,
I got hurt. But god no not by you, I promise you that.
Now I just don't have the strength I once had to rebuild my walls,
However I really don't mind feel like this.
Feeling vulnerable.
Yes it might be a horrible thing to say, but to me I feel many things.
I feel a what if this vs that happens
I feel wanted & hated
I feel like pain isn't the only thing to feel
My walls are down,
I put them down for one person,
However if anyone sees you at your weak point, they're going to launch at you.
And yes, anyone includes your demons.
My demons have destroyed on how I feel but you made me feel like I don't have my demons anymore,
So yes,
I'll show the world i am broken,
However without your help I would still be in the darkness.
Don't say you broke me, you let me free of myself.
I can't wait to hopefully have you by my side in my next chapter of life.
