The next morning my alarm started ringing at half past seven. I groaned and turned it off, then got up and took a shower. When I got out of it and wrapped a towel around me, I suddenly remembered what had happened yesterday.
"NAT!", I screamed. I heard a dull bang, then heard Nat shouting. "Ouch! What the hell is wrong with you?"
I rushed out of the bathroom and looked at her. "We're having breakfast with Aaron Tveit and George Blagden in-" I checked my phone on the bedside table. "Thirteen minutes! Hurry up!"
"Oh shit!" Nat jumped up and rushed into the bathroom.
I quickly got dressed into a black jeans, a dark red shirt, a thin black jacket and black sneakers, then combed my hair and put on a bit makeup, so I wouldn't look too tired. Nat came out of the bathroom some seconds later and smiled.
"How much time do I have left?" I checked my phone again. "Five more minutes." She took a deep breath and grinned. "Nat?"
"Hm?"
"Stay cool, okay?"
"Excuse you? I'm always cool. You're the one who kinda embarrassed herself in front of him last night.", she said, as she got dressed.
"And that got us a breakfast with them, so you're welcome."
Then there was a knock at the door, so Nat grabbed my wrist and squeezed it. "Ouch! Nails, nails!", I cried out, so she let go of me. "Sorry."
I pointed my finger at her in accusation, while I walked backwards to the door. "Stay. Cool."
"Cool. I'm cool, I'm always cool."
"Mhm, yeah. I just saw you demonstrate that." I opened the door and smiled.
Aaron was standing in front of me, wearing a blue shirt and black pants with grey sneakers. George was standing behind him and smiled.
"Hey.", Aaron said with a smile.
"Hey yourself."
"Did you sleep well?" I nodded in reply, making him chuckle. "You ready? I'm starving", George asked. I turned around and looked at Nat. She smiled, yet she seemed a little nervous.
"Sure, we are."
"Great.", Aaron said and the four of us headed for the breakfast buffet.
We sat down at a round table with four chairs and the waiter came some seconds later, asking us for drink requests. Nat and George both ordered coffee, Aaron and I cappuccino.
"Ladies first?", Aaron asked smiling.
"Always a gentleman.", I said smiling, then Nat and I walked toward the buffet table.
"How can you stay so cool?", she asked, while we put some baked eggs on our plates.
"I don't know. I guess I just don't see him as Aaron Tveit. Just as Aaron." Nat looked at me and smiled. "What?", I asked confused.
"You like him."
"No, I don't!", I denied.
"Yes, you do."
I looked at her and had to smile. "Okay... maybe a little."
