"Rise and shine, lovebirds."

Those words in a terribly happy voice ripped me out of my beautiful dream and forced me to open my eyes.

First, I thought it was Aaron, but then I heard him groan next to me and felt him moving.

Someone chuckled and I realized it must've been George.

I turned from my stomach onto my back before I noticed that I was still naked and not fully covered by the sheets. I let out a scream and pulled up the sheet before I sat up and looked at George. Only he wasn't there.

"I'm in the bathroom, don't sweat it.", George said laughing.

I sighed relieved and looked at Aaron, who was still lying next to me, eyes closed.

"Wake up.", I murmured and tapped his shoulder.

"No."

"Yes."

"Noo..." He rolled over on his stomach again and pulled the sheets with him. I pulled them back to cover myself.

"I give you five more minutes to get dressed then I'm done packing my stuff in here.", George called from the bathroom.

I quickly got up and got dressed, Aaron was still lying in bed and didn't make an attempt to get up.

"I gotta go pack the rest of my stuff."

"Mhm."

I raised my eyebrow at his response, then grabbed a pillow and hit him with it. "Ouch! Hey!"

"Get your lazy ass outta there and start packing!"

He turned on his back and smiled at me. "So that's how it's gonna be from now on? You throwing me out of bed every morning?"

"If I have to.", I simply replied and put the pillow away. But then I realized something and sat back down on the bed. "No, it's not.", I whispered to myself. How could I not see that before? How could I realize it just now when it was so obvious this whole time?

"What?"

"That's not how it's gonna be."

"Well thank God, I'd love to start my mornings slowly, quietly and in peace.", Aaron said chuckling. But he stopped when he saw the look on my face. "Scar?"

I shook my head and looked at him. "You don't get it. It's not gonna be like that because we're not gonna see each other again."

Aaron frowned. "Huh?"

"Aaron, think about it. You live in New York; I live in London. That's textbook long distance.", I explained.

He sighed and nodded. "Shit, you're right."

I nodded as well and looked at my feet tapping my heels against each other.

"Scar, hey. We'll manage. Others manage, so we will as well. Okay?"

I didn't respond.

"We'll find a way, I promise you.", he reassured me.

But when I looked at him, I could see that he wasn't as sure as he pretendedto be.
