Chapter 9

I woke up the next day and couldn't help but smile immediately.

He kissed me.

Aaron kissed me...

Three times!

I jumped out of my bed and started dancing on my way to the bathroom. I hadn't been that happy in a long time. I took a shower, put on a dark green dress, and put on a bit of makeup. I looked at my watch and smiled. It was still super early, but I didn't care.

"Scar...?", I heard Nat's quiet and sleepy sounding voice.

"Yes?"

"Why are you ready already...?", she asked and slowly sat up.

"Yeah, I got up very early.", I said and smiled. Nat groaned and fell back on the bed again. "Come on, Nat, get up! It's a beautiful day!", I said, opened the curtains and pointed at the sun outside. Nat groaned, but eventually got out of bed. She got ready, while I just stood by the window and looked outside, enjoying the morning.

Nat just came out of the bathroom when there was a knock on our door. I quickly walked over to it and opened it. "Morning, beautiful.", he said smiling.

"Guess you're lucky today."

"Guess I am.", he replied, leaned over to me, and gave me a gentle kiss. I heard Nat gasping for air behind us. I turned and looked at her with a smile. "Ready for breakfast?", I asked smiling.

"Right now, I'd actually prefer an explanation.", she replied. I giggled and pulled her to the door. "I'll explain it on the way."

We closed the door behind us and walked downstairs to the breakfast room, while I told her everything that had happened the night before. We sat down on our table, George was already waiting, and Nat said: "I can't believe you didn't tell me yesterday!"

Again, I giggled quietly. "To be honest, I couldn't believe it myself at first.", I said smiling.

We had breakfast, talked a lot as always and then went to the lobby to wait for the bus. "May I?", Aaron asked smiling and reached out his hand to me.

"You may.", I said and took it. He smiled, kissed it, and pulled me outside after the bus had arrived.

"Nat, would you mind?"

"No, of course not.", she said, winked and sat next to George. Aaron sat next to me and smiled. He took my hand and kissed it. Once again, I giggled, slowly starting to annoy myself with it. But Aaron brushed that thought off with his words. "I love your giggles, Scar.", he said smiling.

I smiled as well.

"And I love seeing you smile, Miss Lincoln.", he added and chuckled.

"And I enjoy your chuckles, Mister Tveit."

Before I realized what I had said he let go off my hand and looked at me with surprise in his eyes. "How do you know my last name?"
