We enjoyed the breakfast a lot, mostly because Aaron and I were more focused on talking to each other than eating.

After breakfast we waited in the lobby for the bus to pick us up. "Have you ever been to Rome before?", Aaron asked me.

"No, never. Have you?"

"No, it's the first time. George had the idea to-" He suddenly stopped.

"What?", I asked curiously, smiling a little.

"Nothing. I mean, George had the idea and... yeah.", Aaron said, not looking into my eyes.

"Is everything okay?", I asked confused.

"Yeah, yeah, no, everything's fine.", he said and smiled.

"The bus is here!", Nat shouted and pulled me outside. I laughed and followed her. Our destination for the day was the old city part of Rome. The driver parked and we all got out and Nat and I decided to walk around a bit.

"So, you like Aaron?", Nat asked me with a grin.

I sighed and shook my head slightly. "Nat, seriously, stop that. Please.", I almost begged her.

"You know very well that I can't.", she replied, still grinning.

I rolled my eyes. "Okay, he seems... nice. Very nice. But that's it."

"Mhm, sure.", she just said, the grin growing wider.

We eventually sat down in small café, each of us drinking a cappuccino and went shopping afterwards. We walked back to the bus when Nat suddenly cried out. "Shit!"

"What? What happened?", I asked in shock.

"I forgot my phone at the café! Wait here, stop the bus, I'll be right back!", she said, already running away. I looked after her, already trying to figure out how to stop the bus from leaving without her.

"Is everything okay?", I suddenly heard Aaron's voice behind me. I turned around and saw him smiling at me. "Oh, um, Nat forgot her phone at a café.", I said and smiled. Aaron chuckled quietly. "Okay, everyone inside!", our bus driver said.

"Wait, please! My friend is still missing.", I said.

"She has to be here in time, she knows that.", he said.

"Come on, you can wait five more minutes, can't you?", Aaron asked him.

"The other passengers want to go back to the hotel, I can't-"

"You can't go with someone missing! Everyone will understand if we'd wait five more minutes.", Aaron said. The bus driver looked at him furiously, but eventually caved in. "Fine. Five minutes. And not a second longer. Now get inside.", he said, sounding very pissed off.

I sighed relieved. "Thank you, Aaron.", I said.

"No problem.", he replied smiling. We looked at each other for a moment, still smiling.

"I'm here! I'm here! Sorry!", Nat shouted as she came running.

We all entered the bus, first me, then Aaron and then Nat and George. I sat down, when the bus already started driving, so Aaron fell on the seat next to me.

"I'm sorry!", he said chuckling. He wanted to get back up, but Nat stopped him. "Stay. I'll just sit next to George." She winked at me, then sat down in one of the seats in front of us.

I gave her an angry look but accepted my fate. I smiled at Aaron, then suddenly I had to yawn. "God, I'm so sorry!", I said and blushed.

But Aaron chuckled quietly. "Don't worry about it."

I laid my head back and closed my eyes. Soon I drifted off and my head fell on Aaron's shoulder, who then laid his head on mine and fell asleep as well.
