The rest of the bus drive seemed to just fly by.

Aaron and I were talking, discussing our future, but mostly we were making out. I was sitting on his lap again and I wished I never had to leave that place. His arms were gently wrapped around me making me feel safe even without a seatbelt.

But sadly, no one had the power to stop time from passing and so we had eventually reached our destination. The bus stopped at the airport and the passengers got out.

"Don't.", Aaron whispered and kissed my tears away before we got up. "Don't cry. I want to remember you like this. Beautiful and smiling at me. Not beautiful and crying.", he said and smiled slightly. I took a deep breath and nodded.

We got out of the bus and John handed us our suitcases before we said our goodbyes to him.

"Well, I guess that's it.", George said with a smile. "It was very nice to meet you two.", he said smiling and hugged Nat and me.

"It was nice to meet you, too.", Nat replied smiling.

"I gotta go or I'll miss my flight. We'll text, okay?", George said smiling and was about to leave.

I bit my lip knowing I would regret asking but regret it more if I didn't. "George, hang on a second.", I called him back.

"Yeah?"

"I gotta know. Did you catch a glimpse of... you know?", I asked him trying not to turn bright red.

"You sure you wanna know?", he asked me to be on the safe side. I looked at him and nodded. He sighed and couldn't hide a smile. "I did.", he confessed.

"Oh God." My cheeks turned red, and I hid my face in my hands. "Oh God..." George chuckled quietly and laid one arm around my shoulder. "Nothing to be ashamed on, believe me.", he said with a wide smile, making me groan.

"Please stop that.", I begged him mumbling into my hands.

"Yes, please stop that.", Aaron agreed.

"Well, gotta run. Bye guys!" Then George left.

"Aaron, it was great to meet you, I mean considering everything.", Nat said smiling.

"Nat.", I warned her.

She lifted her hands innocently. "Just saying." She looked at him and smiled. "Just make her happy, okay?"

"I will.", Aaron replied smiling and hugged her

"See you next time." Nat turned to look at me. "I'll check in our luggage. Whenever you're ready, just don't be late.", she said and left with our suitcases.

I looked after her and smiled slightly, but that smile disappeared quickly when I looked at Aaron.

"Well, I guess this is our good-"

"No.", I interrupted him. "Don't, don't say it. Please..."

He looked at me and smiled slightly. He came toward me and hugged me tightly. "I love you more than anyone else, Scar.", he whispered and kissed my head. I pressed my head again his chest and nodded. "I know. I love you, too."

He eventually let go of me and looked at me. "Don't cry, please.", he said quietly.

I saw tears filling his eyes, as well. "I love you so much, Aaron.", I said quietly.

"I love you, too, Scar.", he replied and kissed me gently. I laid my arms around his neck and pulled him closer.

I wished I never had to let him go. I needed him. I needed him with me. How could we both live with such a distance between us?

We parted after some moments and looked at each other again. "I'm always with you, remember that.", he said and gave me another gentle kiss. "I love you, Scarlett Lincoln."

"And I love you, Aaron Tveit...", I replied, then I turnedaround and left for the check in, leaving the love of my life behind.
