We continued our stroll along the shopping area. We soon came across a store that displayed various dresses in their window.

I let go off Aaron's hand to take a closer look at one of them that had caught my eye.

It was a beautiful knee-length dark red dress with lace running down the sides and the back and had one strap on the left shoulder.

I wasn't the biggest fan of dresses, I usually only wore them when it was too hot outside for shorts, but this one was just too gorgeous not to wear. I checked the price tag and swallowed, then shook my head and tried to forget about the dress again.

"What is it?", Aaron asked me and put one arm around my waist.

"Too expensive.", I sighed and wanted to leave, but Aaron held me back.

"Do you want it?"

I looked at him in confusion and when I realized what he was implying I started shaking my head. "No. Absolutely not. Forget it."

"Do you want it?"

"Stop that, okay? I spent all the money I don't have already so it's my own fault I can't afford this anymore."

"Do you – "

"Yes.", I grumbled. "Yes, I want it. But I don't want you to buy it for me."

Aaron looked at the dress, then the price tag and back at me. "It's nothing."

"I said no.", I replied firmly, but it only made him chuckle.

"Come on. It's not completely selfless. You would look like a bombshell in it so that's pretty selfish of me."

I couldn't help but giggle. "Still." I shook my head.

"Okay, but – ", he raised his hands to propose a deal. "Try it on? For me? To give me a happy memory?"

I frowned but then shrugged one shoulder. "Wouldn't hurt anyone I guess."

We entered the store, and I asked one of the saleswomen for the dress in my size, then went into one of their changing rooms and put on the dress. I looked at myself in the mirror and couldn't help but smile. Aaron was right, I was looking like a bombshell.

"You sitting down?", I asked Aaron before I opened the door.

"Yeah.", he just replied. I then opened the door and saw Aaron sitting on a small stool across from the changing rooms. When Aaron saw me, he put on of his hands on his heart and leaned back against the mirrored wall. "Be still my heart.", he said quietly.

"Not too still I hope.", I said smiling.

Aaron chuckled and got up. "And not just my heart.", he added with a sly smirk.

I gasped playfully and hit his chest. "Mister Tveit, where are your manners?"

"Guess I forget them when I'm with you.", he simply replied and kissed me gently. I kissed him back with a smile on my face but then broke away. "Happy memory given?"

"Hm..." He took my hand and held it up in the air, so I spun around myself. He looked me up and down and nodded. "Yup."

I smiled, then went back into the changing room and put on my normal clothes.

I thanked the saleswoman and apologized for not buying the dress when I got back out, then took Aaron's hand and left the shop with him.

We grabbed a quick bite to eat on our way to the hotel and kissed goodbye before we parted ways to get back into our own rooms to pack

Although I was pretty sure what Nat was trying to do was pack because we would leave the next day but judging by the mess in our room, I was guessing she had just been throwing her stuff around hoping for it to land in her suitcase.

"So? You disappeared and George told me about him kidnapping you and because I didn't see you afterwards and you're not standing in front of me crying your eyes out once again – I'm guessing you guys made up and out?", she asked me suspiciously but with a smile – yet it didn't reach her eyes.

I smiled as well before starting to pack some of my things as well and telling her about my afternoon. Afterwards I went to take a shower and I had just gotten back out wrapped in a towel when I heard a knock at the door. I checked if Nat had locked herself out again, but she was still fighting with the mass of her clothes and the size of her suitcase.

I went to open the door and was surprised when I didn't see anyone standing there. I checked the corridor, but it was empty. Then I gasped, when I saw something hanging on the door.

It was the red dress from the store.
