It was almost the end of November. It had been raining a few days, so I rarely went out. I logged in the usual social network, Facebook.

It was a message from Bryan. I was happy that he sent me a message. Like he always does.



Bryan: Hey El :)



Ellie: Bryannnnnn :D



Bryan: How are you? :)



Ellie: I'm fine. You?



Bryan: Haha. same here :D



Ellie: What you doing? :)



Bryan: Just.. twitter. haha



He was both on Facebook and Twitter. Twitter huh?



Ellie: Twitter?



Bryan: Yeah. Don't you have twitter?



I had no idea about twitter that time. I thought twitter was just some boring social networking site but after Bryan told me about it, I became addicted to Twitter.



Ellie: Nooo. haha



Bryan: What? haha. That's the first. Everyone has twitter



Ellie: I thought it's boring.



Bryan: No it's not. Make an account :) haha



Ellie: Okay. Wait :)





I searched in Twitter on Google. Interesting site. I clicked on sign up and made an account. I typed in my username and password. My twitter account was created. I had zero followers at first but then when I started following other people, I gained more and more followers.


Twitter was quite new for me that time, so I had no idea about what was happening on my timeline. All I did was reading people's tweets and following celebrities that I know will never in a million years follow back.


Then I told Bryan about my twitter and he followed me. I followed him back. We started tweeting to each other on twitter and pretty much everyone can see it. I never wanted anyone to know that I was friends with him, not to mention that he is popular. I was hoping that no one would notice.


We tweeted each other back and forth. It was fun. Twitter was so much fun than Facebook. I started to really like Twitter and I ditched Facebook. I never actually opened my Facebook account in a long time.


I online everyday on Twitter. It was really addicting and I can't get enough of it. As I was on Twitter, I came across this guy, Frederick. Vanessa told me that Frederick had a crush on her since last year. Not thinking much, I followed him on Twitter and I never thought he would be apart of my life.


Who knew, just a simple follow and follow back can change my life forever? Kinda weird isn't it? Life is full of surprises. It's like putting your hand inside a box and you'll never know what's inside it, waiting...
