Valentine's Day

Thursday, February 14, 2013. 

It was the first time I went out with Bryan. It was fun and I had a great time. I was utterly happy when he asked me out.

Bryan: Hi  El :)

Ellie: Hey Bryannnn :) 

Bryan: Um.. hey do you wanna go out tomorrow? 

Ellie: Go out? with you? 

Bryan: Yeah with me. haha why?

Ellie: Nothing. haha. wow. okayyy sure :)

Bryan: Okay :) haha

Ellie: So... what are we doing tomorrow? 

Bryan: Um.. watch a movie and.. i don't know. Stuff. haha :)

Ellie: Ohh. hahaha. 

Bryan: Yeah. haha :)

So we went out that day, during Valentine's Day. The mall was crowded. I could see couples everywhere, holding hands and stuff. Valentine's Day... I broke up with Jonah, then I went out with Bryan. How weird. I mean, why shouldn't I go out with him? I'm single, he's single. No harm. 

Bryan paid for everything and no, I didn't asked him to pay for everything. He paid for the movie tickets and popcorns. I didn't have to pay anything at all. That was the first. Jonah never paid anything for me. I had to pay everything for myself. I know I should pay too sometimes but usually guys will always pay. Isn't that how it is supposed to be? 

"I'll have two tickets please" Bryan pulled out his wallet and paid for the ticket. I was like, "You're spending your money for me?" Bryan took the tickets from the person that was incharge of the movie tickets and said,"Yeah. Why?" 

No guy had ever paid anything for me before. It was the first. Then I said, "Really? Thanks!" I smiled at him.

It was awesome.We watched an action movie. I forgot the title of the movie we watched. It was worth it. It was fun hanging out with him that day and I was looking forward to meet him again the next time if, he will ask me out again.

Then that night, I talked with Bryan on the phone. I love his voice. We talked about the movie that we watched and how fun it was. Honestly, Bryan was like a special friend to me. 

After we finished talking on the phone, I was on whatsapp talking with Frederick. Nothing special really. I was actually feeling bored talking with him. We talked about boring stuff such as school stuff and homework. I never understood his lame jokes. I never find it funny. More like plain words. 

WHATSAPP

Frederick: Hi Ellie :)

Ellie: Heyyyy :)

Frederick: How are you?

Ellie: I'm fine. You? 

Frederick: I'm great. What did you do today? 

Ellie: Oh. Nothing much. 

I never told Frederick that I went out with Bryan on Valentine's Day. 

Frederick: Oh. haha. How's life? 

Ellie: Life is okay. How about you?

"Life is okay"? EL, life was never okay back then. I feel much better now without all the dramas about guys and stuff. 

Frederick: Hmm.. okay I guess. Hey um... there's something I want to tell you.

Ellie: Okayyyy... what? :)

Frederick: I don't know how to say this and I know we talked for only one month plus but...

Ellie: But....? Don't leave me hanging here. 

Frederick: I... uh.. I like you El. 

Then it hits me. Did he just said that he likes me? Him? Frederick that had a crush on my best friend, Vanessa? Say whuuut??? I was literally shocked. Why he likes me? 

Ellie: You like me? What? Why? :O

Frederick: I like you because you're kind and nice. 

HE WHAT? He likes me because I'm kind and nice? That was not what I expected. It was not a proper answer from him. He never actually did told me the proper answer why he liked me. 

Ellie: Oh. Wow. This is too fast. I mean, I just broke up with my bf and I think we should just be friends, okay? You're nice but I don't like you like that. 

Frederick: Oh. That's okay. I understand :) 

Ellie: Yeah. Are you okay?

Frederick: I'm okay :)

The next day, February 15, 2013. 

I was on the phone with Bryan. 

"So... El, what do you think of Frederick? 

"Um... he's nice and all. Why?" I asked him. 

"Oh. Nothing. I'm just asking." He replied. I knew something was going on and I had to find out. 

"What? Tell me!" I was curious

"I think he likes you." 

"What? No way" I pretended that I didn't know Frederick likes me. 

"Yeah. Seriously" 

"But why?" 

"I don't know. Why ask me? Ask him" Bryan said. 

"That is so weird" 

"I know. I mean he likes Vanessa then suddenly he likes you". 

"So weird" 

See? How weird. Frederick likes Vanessa but suddenly he told me that he likes me. Then Bryan told me that Frederick likes me. WHOA. I couldn't deal with it. Everything was so fast. This issue about Frederick liking me turned out to be the worst thing that ever happened to me. 

After Frederick told me about his crush on me, he had been acting so strange. He kept on messaging me everyday on whatsapp. He was so sweet to me, the way he talked and all. He convinced me how much he likes me. I guess he was disappointed when I told him that I just wanted to be friends with him. I don't like him. 

Honestly, I like Bryan. A lot.
