What Is This?!

37 Water Party

Me and the girls (don't comment on my grammar) went to Haru's house. I knock on the door.

We wait until Kageyama opened the door.

I say, "You're not Haru."

Kageyama growls, "Yeah, no sh-."

"Hey, Alexis! Hey, SiSi! Hey, Yachi! Hey... other people!" Hinata says from behind him. "Come in!"

We go inside into the living room where Eren and some dude with weirdly colored hair is at.

SiSi greets, "Hey, Eren! Hey, Kenma!"

Well, I guess I can assume that the dude's name is Kenma. That must've been the unknown voice I heard.

I ask, "Where is Haru?"

Hinata shrugs, "I don't know." He has a worried look on his face.

I inform, "I'll go search for him." I search through every room that no one is in, but I don't see him.

I go pass the occupied bathroom and go back to living room. Everyone is there chatting. Yachi, Kenma, Eren and SiSi are together talking. Mikasa is watching over Eren. Hinata, Kou and Kageyama are in a group together. Well, Kou is fangirling at their muscles.

Wait... everyone is here, but the bathroom is preoccupied.

I exclaimed, "Bathroom!" I turned from them and ran to the bathroom. I knocked on the door.

There is no answer.

I start to panic as I slid the door open with so much force it echoes in the bathroom. Then I gasp as what I see. I immediately cover my eyes.

"Um," I say nervously walking up to the bathtub. I focus my eyes through my fingers at my surroundings. Once I am at the bathtub, I crouch down. I greet, "Hey, Haru. How are you?"

I hear nothing from Haru, so I open my eyes to see him.

Haru is slid down into the bathtub fully dressed. His mouth is in the water. He looks up at me with a passive expression.

I sigh at this sad state he is in. I kneel beside the tub and say, "Want to get out?"

Haru looks away to the side.

I hold my hand out to him.

Suddenly, I see a pained look on Haru's face. He peeks at my hand and stays silent.

I don't know what to do. Did something happen? I need help helping him. Who knows him as much as Makoto does?

Suddenly, I hear buzzing. I look and see a blue flip phone in the far corner of the bathroom.

Haru flinches at the rings.

I get up and go to it. I pick the phone up from the floor. I open it and say, "Hello?"

"Haru?" A voice says urgently. "Is Haru okay?"

I ask cautiously, "Who is this?"

The voice says back with a growl, "Who is this?"

Okay, this was my worse nightmare. I don't like answering phones and this dude was not making it any easier. I just picked it up from the spare of the moment.

I go, "Um... uh. I, uh. Alexis."

"Oh, you're his girlfriend! Ot's me, Rin. Remember me?" The voice says.

I say with relief, "Oh, it's you. But Haru..."

"Right," Rin says understanding the urgency of the situation. "Is he alright?"

I answer, "No, he's in the bathtub... fully clothed."

Rin sighs into the phone. Then he says, "Just keep him company. I know you calm him down when things are going bad for him. I will be there soon. Bye." He hangs up the phone.

I go back to Haru and pats his head. I start, "Is it about...." My voice trails off not wanting to bring up his problem with Makoto. Then it would bring memories of him not being able to swim, and I know it would be terrible for his health.

Haru just continues to look away at the wall.

I kneel down beside the tub and sat there quietly.

She is in the living room with the group she talking to: Yachi, Kenma, and Eren. She saw Lexi go to the bathroom after figuring something out.

She asks, "Kenma, are you going to stay for the weekend?"

Kenma looks up from his cellphone and nods.

Eren asks, "What happened to Levi? Wasn't he with you?"

SiSi says, "Well, Mommy Levi had to go."

Eren chuckles, "You have to tell me everything about how your plan turned out."

SiSi says, "Sure. Levi was in a dress, Eren. A dress! He wore a blond wig. He was a hot mom."

Eren laughs, "I can imagine that!"

"And guess this," SiSi says holding in her laugh. "He was smiling!"

The two burst out laughing while Yachi watches with a nervous smile.

Suddenly, the front door slams open and someone stops in the living room.

Kou says, "Hey, big bro."

SiSi says, "Hi, Rin."

Rin just nods a high and rin into the hallway towards the bathroom.

SiSi says sadly, "Must be here for Haru too."

The door to the bathroom slids open, and Rin calls, "Haru!" He gets beside me and says, "Haru, come on man."

Haru just glares at Rin and looks away.

I say worried, "Haru. Please."

Haru just shakes his head no.

Rin says, "Haru, you have to get over Makoto. I know you two were close. Great friends, but you need to... um, be strong."

Haru lifts up his sprained wrist and looks at it. He says, "I feel like I need him. He's my best friend since we small. It feels like I am betraying him by replacing him."

Rin says sternly, "He betrayed you! You have people in your living room during your... little... pity party. Get off your butt, and live your life!" He grabs Haru's noninjured hand and pulled him up.
