What Is This?!

It is lunchtime. At the table are SiSi, Aisara, Kagami, Eren Jeager, and some other people. SiSi and Eren is busy fawning over Mr. Ackerman who is nowhere to be seen... thank goodness. Aisara and Kagami are flirting... yuck.

And I am alone. I sigh, "Where does Makoto go during lunch. I'm all alone."

"He is usually eating lunch with Haruka and his teammates at the pool," said a soft voice.

I squeal and look to the left. Beside me is a blue haired little fellow, so barely taller than me, fellow. I greet, "Hello, when did you get here?"

The boy simply answers, "I was here the whole time."

I ask assuming he's a Freshman, "What's your name?"

He answers simply, "I am Kuroko."

I gasp, "Oh! You're the boy who can disappear!"

Aisara scoffs, "How did you hear about him, but not Taiga?"

I reply, "Maybe I want to know about someone who isn't a scary giant!"

Kagami said, "I'm right here!"

Kuroko ignores Kagami's statement and asks me, "Do you know anyone else on the team?"

I nod, "Yep. The big-handed Kiyoshi. That is about it. We have class together next." I sigh and look up dreamyly. "The same class as Makoto."

SiSi puts her fork down and turns from Eren. She says with a similar smile, "My next class is with my crush too."

Aisara scoffs, "A forty year old teacher doesn't count."

SiSi protests, "He is not forty!... He is thirty. Get it straight."

I laugh at her protest, then I look up and saw Mr. Ackerman walk in. I snicker, "Hey, look, Mrs. Ackerman." I point towards him.

Kuroko says sipping on his vanilla milk, "And he's coming over here."

SiSi doesn't avert her eyes or try to hide. He gives Mr. Ackerman a smile as he walks up to Eren and her.

Once he in front of them, he says, "Eren, I graded your paper. Your grades are subpar. I expect more from you." His face did not seem to change from him bored expression.

Eren protests, "I did what I could!"

Mr. Ackerman glances at SiSi and says, "You should tutor Eren, SiSi. He needs help from great students like you."

SiSi sighs all dreamily. She agrees, "Yeah."

Mr. Ackerman flashes a small smirk at her and turns. He walks away to some teachers off to the side.

SiSi squeals at me and reaches across from beside me. She grabs my arms and says, "You see that? You see THAT?! He smiled at me!"

Eren scoffs crossing his arms, "You're just the teacher's pet."

SiSi says with a smile still glowing on her face, "I don't mind being his pet."

Aisara laughs out loud, "That's what she said!"

I hear a smile laugh from Kuroko beside me.

Then I think about Makoto. I wonder if he likes me, or is he just doing it because Haruka said so.

SiSi asks, "What's wrong?"

Aisara says, "Yeah, your face went from happy to worried real quick."

I tell them what I think.

SiSi reassures, "You're a great girl."

"Yeah," Aisara agrees. "Plus I don't think Makoto will go out with just anyone."

I yell with my enthusiasm back, "Yeah! You are right! After practice, I will go to him confidently and talk to him!"

Aisara yells holding on to Kagami's hand, "And I will enjoy the game between the girls and the guys!" Kagami and she look at each other competitively.

SiSi yells, "And I will help Mr. Ackermam with anything to get him to marry me!"

I bust out laughing from that! We all did. We are looking forward to the end of the school day with smiles on our faces.
