What Is This?!

28 Friends

It was Monday. School time once again. I was in school in my usual spot. I was with Aisara, SiSi, Eren, and Tempest. I yawn as I look around for Haru.

Suddenly, Yachi comes over to us. This time she was holding on to Hinata. Wow. What a change in roles. She greets, "Hi!"

Everyone says hi back.

Yachi announces, "My mother wants my friends to come over to have a sleepover party. It will be on Friday to Saturday. Want to come?"

What... her Mom wants her to have a sleepover party? Despite my inwardly confusion. I shrug, "Sure. My parents says I need more friend anyways. Is it weird that my own parents calls me a party pooper?"

SiSi laughs, "It is true! All you want to do is sleep and sit around." She turns to Yachi and says, "I hope my parents will let me go."

I scoff, "I also wanna swim. I ONLY SWIM FREE!"

SiSi says glaring at me, "I'm going to kick you."

I take a step back.

Aisara sighs, "Sorry, Yachi. I won't be able to. I have a game and a date after it."

"Yeah," Tempest says disappointed. "I really want to come, but I will be exhausted afterwards."

Yachi smiles a carefree smile. She replies, "Don't worry. We always hang out, and we still can Sunday."

Tempest says agreeing, "Sure!"

Suddenly, I got a whiff of water. I turn seeing Haru and Makoto. I wave, "Hey, Haru!" I go up to them.

Haru greets, "Hi."

Makoto greets with his innocent smile, "Hi, King."

I can feel Makoto's eyes stare into me, but I ignore him. I ask Haru, "Want to hang out after school?"

Haru nods, "After practice."

I reply, "Got it."

Makoto asks, "Where are you two going to go?"

I put my hand up to Makoto and say, "Not telling you. And Makoto! Stop calling me at night! I need my sleep!" He had been calling me non-stop for like two hours at night. It was so irritating!

Makoto replies, "But I need my King."

I grimance at what he said. I do like Makoto, but he is too clingy. Even now! Plus he seems so vulnerable, and it gets to me.

Makoto takes a step towards me, but Haru put his arm up in front of him. Haru glares at him, but Makoto chuckles a rather dark laugh.

Haru says, "See you later." Hr walks away pulling Makoto with him.

SiSi growls, "He better not touch you. I swear I will punch him!"

Yachi flinches at her remark.

Aisara grabs SiSi by her arm amd says, "Let's go to our classes, SiSi."

She retaliates, "I will punch him!"

She goes to Levi's classroom. She sees that he is alone in class. She greets, "Hey, Levi."

Levi looks at her from his desk. He asks, "How was your weekend?"

She answers, "It was fine. Mom and Dad still stink though."

Levi sighs, "Sorry about that."

SiSi gets beside him. She says, "I wish I could've spent more time with you." She sits on his lap.

In response, Levi's face turns a pinkish color as he blushes. He says struggling, "I wish I could've too."

She asks, "Want to make out?" Of course, she knows the answer to the question.

I sniff the air and say, "I spell people breaking rules!"

"What?" Haru says as he walks by my side.

I chuckle to myself, "Nothing."

Haru asks, "Want to go on a date on pool date on Friday?"

"Actually," I say. "I am going to a slumber party that day. How about Sunday?"

Haru nods, "Okay."

We make it to his house. He and I sits down on his couch to watch tv. As we sit there, I start to doze off.

"She was right," Haru says waking me up completely. "You do sleep a lot."

I sit up in my spot and gasp, "You heard that?"

Haru puts his hand to his mouth and laughs quietly. "It's cute."

Immediately, I start to feel embarrassed. I turn my head and feel myself blush.

To my dismay, Haru wraps his arm around my waist.

Suddenly, my cellphone rings, but it is not Makoto's ringtone. I take out my phone and sees 'Tempest' on it. I say, "Hold on."

Haru nods.

I answer, "Hey, Tempest. What's up?"

Tempest says, "Hey, Lexi. I need your help."

I tense up in nervousness. I ask, "What's wrong?"

Tempest answers, "Hinata isn't at his best right now, and he needs some friends."

"Got it!" I am determined to help my new friend. "Where are you?"

She replies, "At my house."

I say before hanging up my phone, "Got it! I'm with Haru, so I'll take him if you don't mind."

"It's fine." Tempest says. She hangs up.

Haru asks, "What's wrong?"

I answer, "Hinata, the one in the volleyball team, is not doing well. He need some support. Wanna come?"

Haru nods. He says determined, "I'll get some water." He jumps up and run to the kitchen.

I sigh, "He's depressed, not dehydrated."

He walks out of the kitchen with arm filled with water bottles. "Water is a friend." He stares me down without letting go of the bottles.

After ten seconds, I exhale, "Fine, put them in my backpack."

Then we start our way to Tempest's house.
