I lay in my bed, the silence between Brad and I getting longer and longer.
"Emily?" I heard Brad ask me.
"Listen Brad. I don't think I can do this." I started.
"But Em..."
"No Bradley. This isn't right. The band would think that I broke up you and Liberty, they would hate me. It also just doesn't...seem...right..."
I heard him sigh.
"Cant we just be friends then?" He insisted.
"Alright..." I said.
"Can we meet up today?" He asked me.
"Umm...sure I don't have anything to do." I said, looking at the enormous pile of homework on my floor.
"Ill pick you up in like 1 hour?"
"Sure!" I said, smiling.
I hung up, put the phone on my bedside table and snuggled under the covers, smiling with glee.
I texted Sophie and lay in bed.
My mum came in a while later and took the home phone from me. I told her that I was going out and she said it was fine so I got up and went downstairs to grab something to eat. I ate a bowl of cereal and then went into the sitting room and watched the big bang theory with my brother.
My phone vibrated a while later and I looked at it.
Brad: "See you in 15 minutes. Bxxx"
*Shit* I thought and ran upstairs to get changed.
I did my usual routine of makeup and contacts and then chose my leggings, converses and one of my favourite tops from new look. It was an grey jumper with an owl on it.
Hearing the doorbell ring, I grabbed a bag, shoved things that I needed in it and went downstairs.
"Bye." I shouted and opened the door.
There was Brad, standing in his black skinny jeans, and his Aztec top and red coat, looking out onto the road.
I shut the door and he turned around and saw me.
I looked down at my feet, not knowing what to do or say.
"Come here you." He said, and pulled me into a hug.
