I opened my eyes to see Sophie putting on some make-up in a mirror on the wall.

I groaned and rolled over, snuggling into the warm sheets around me.

“Are you awake?” I heard her ask me.

I grunted back at her, indicating that I was awake but not really ‘with it’.

I felt around for my phone on the table next to me, my eyes shut, as they were still trying to accustom to the light. I found and turned it on.

I peeled open my eyes and blinked continuously, trying to focus my eyes.

It was 8:38.

Why was Sophie awake?

I then remembered where we were and what was happening.

Joe had said yesterday that we were going to start filming at 9:00.

I tried to gather the energy to get up...but I couldn't.

“Okay I’m ready so I’m going to go have breakfast. I’ll see you in a bit.” She said, closing the door behind her and turning off the lights. She knew that I wasn’t going to get up yet, but it probably wasn't the best move, as I would just fall asleep.

I heard voices outside for a moment, before they disappeared slowly. Sophie was obviously going to breakfast with someone. I wondered who it was…

I stretched and lay on my back, staring at the ceiling for a while, before jolting awake from my daydreaming as there was a knock at the door.

I propped myself up slightly, using my elbows, so that I could see the door, as someone walked in.

They walked towards me and I fell backwards onto my back as I felt warm lips touch mine.

I felt Brad’s curly mop of hair and grinned at him.

“Morning beautiful.” He said in a low, croaky voice.

“Morning.” I chirped, feeling more awake.

Brad clicked the middle button on my phone and it lit up.

“Ah it’s 8:47 and we have to be ready and dressed and had breakfast in 13 minutes.

“12 minutes now.” I grinned, as the time changed.

“I'd better go.” He said, walking towards the door.

“Okay see you later.”

“I’ll probably be late.” He said, as he closed the door.

“No change there then.” I shouted.

“I heard that!” He shouted back.

I got up and got changed, put in my contacts and put on some eyeliner and mascara.

I quickly unplugged my phone, stuffed it in my pocket and jogged downstairs.

I noticed that Sophie was talking to Dean, as I put some bread in the toaster.

I could see Tris, James and Con setting up the stage for the cover with Joe outside.

I hadn't had any time to do my hair, as I thought I would be late, so I did it now, as I was waiting for my toast. I plaited two little sections of hair on the sides of my head and then tied them into one at the back, and brushed my hair with my fingers.

Suddenly my toast popped and I got out it, buttered it with a knife that was on the counter and ate it, walking over to Dean and Sophie.

“So could you possibly do that for me?” Dean said.

“Yeah sure that’s not a problem. Thank you so much for letting me help.” She replied politely.

Dean headed outside with everyone else, and I asked Sophie what he wanted her to do. She said that she would be controlling one of the cameras and getting the different angles, which would save time, as he normally filmed the covers in lots and lots of different takes, in different places as there was only one of him.

I finished my toast just as Brad walked in.

He smiled at me and walked straight outside to everyone else.

“Sorry I’m late.” I heard him say.

Sophie cleared up the mess on the kitchen counter, whilst I got a drink and then we joined everyone outside.

The scene for the shoot was very basic, and it just had hills and fields in the background, with their usual set up of microphones and instruments.

Dean handed a camera to Sophie and she looked ecstatic.

She immediately started to play with it, and I wanted to walk over to her, but I figured that she probably wouldn’t want me to interfere, so I strolled over to Joe, and asked if there was anything that I could do.

“I don’t think so.” He replied to me, and I slowly walked back to my original position.

I decided to go up to Sophie and look at the camera, and she was bubbling with joy and actually showed me the basic settings, unlike I expected.

The boys all went to their places and then Connor and James tuned their guitars.

Dean mumbled something to Sophie and she seemed to fiddle with the camera, before standing in position, ready to film.

Joe signalled to the boys and they burst into song.

The cover was Juliet by Lawson, and when James and Connor started to play the introductory chords and tune, I got goose bumps.

I loved this song.

Brad suddenly began to sing and my heart melted.

He tried to look at the cameras but ended up just staring at me, his rich, brown eyes making me get butterflies in my stomach.

Dean suddenly cut them off.

“Guys, you need to look at the cameras, okay, not into the distance. Remember to make faces and interact with your future viewers of this video.”

Joe nodded and they started from the beginning again.

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a hand wave, and I moved my head to the left and I saw Dean using his hand to tell something to Sophie, and she moved over to the right more and played with the zoom.

After about 1 hour, as Dean was happy with the shots that he and Sophie had, he stopped the filming and the boys stopped singing.

“Let’s have a break.” Joe suggested.

Tris boiled the kettle and Joe, Dean, Brad and him had a cup of coffee.

Sophie and I both had water, along with James and Connor and we ate some digestive biscuits, which were delicious, as McVitie ones always are.

I noticed that Brad kept on trying to look at me throughout the break.

I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket and I got it out and saw that he had messaged me:

“We need to tell them.  How about now? Bxxxx”

“Is this a good time? Joe and Dean seem really stressed out xxxxx” I responded.

I watched him check his phone from across the long table that we were all sitting at, and I waited for his reply to come through.

“I really think that now is the best time. When else could we do it? Everyone is here. I need to do this. Bxxxxx”

After I had read it, I looked up and noticed him staring at me.

I nodded and smiled subtly, to imply that I agreed and that we should do it now.

Brad cleared his throat and took a sip of his coffee.

“Guys.” He began, “I need to tell you something…”
