I woke up to the sound of my mum waking into my room. I opened my eyes and peeped up at her from underneath the covers, wondering why she was here. I looked at my clock-it was 10:38. Why was she waking me up?
"Ill just pass you over then Bradley." Said my mother.
I froze and glared at my mum. I hadn't told her anything that had happened. The only people that knew were my closest friends, and the band.
She handed me the phone and walked out.
I held it up to my ear, and snuggled back down into the covers.
"Hello..?" I spoke quietly.
"Uh Hi. Its Brad." A croaky voice said at the other end of the phone.
"Hi..."
"Umm listen. Please let me just explain."
"Brad..Im not sure...I."
"Please...Em.."
"Alright." I said and listened to what he had to say.
"What Tris said is true.." He started, and my heart sank. "To a certain extent.."
There was hope.
"When the band got serious and we weren't spending anytime at home, Liberty and I couldn't be together. No one knew that we have broken up, not even Tris. People assume that we still are together. When Tris came in he thought that I was cheating on her by being with you, but I'm not. I hate pretending in front of the band and fans. I hate not being able to tell anyone that we aren't together anymore. If the band found out it would cause tension between us, and we are at such a critical point in our career at the moment that I cant afford to ruin anything. They said they we would never work out. We were always away from each other because of the band but I didn't listen, and I broke up with her ages ago.I never even felt anything. Not like with you. I know that this is hard, but please forgive me. I hate myself for hurting you."
