"Who are you?" I demanded.

It was the same cloaked creature from my night vision.

"Who are you?" I repeated, but it began to race off.

I looked around to see if anyone else was there before following. Sword raised, I ran on the pathway that led to the Big House. I sprinted after it, but every time I thought I was close, the creature was far beyond me. In a puff of smoke, it vanished and I ran into something new. Someone new.

"Oh, Chiron! I didn't-" I began to explain.

"Bethany Acadia." I gulped at his words, "I was just looking for you."

"Looking for me? Why?" I sheathed my sword.

He turned around and began to lead me towards the nearby building, "I suppose I'm not looking for you, but someone else is."

The Big House is where Mr. D and Chiron's offices are. It's light blue paint was peeling off on all sides of it.

Chiron said nothing else until we entered, "Listen."

"Beth. Beth." The walls seemed to whisper. A chill was sent down my spine, for I didn't recognize this voice.

"Go ahead," He pointed to the attic.

What is going on?

I placed my hand firmly on the hilt of my sword, prepared, as I began to climb the creaky ladder.

"Beth. Beth." The whispers continued.

I looked down at Chiron, who gave me a simple nod.

As soon as I climbed inside, the voices stopped and the attic door slammed shut.

I anxiously waited, but nothing happened. I looked around at my surroundings in the attic. Cobwebs covered every corner, no place wasn't dusty, and every box looked like it'd been sitting there for ages, and it probably had. I untied my jacket from my waist and quickly put it on. Surely this was all a mistake, and I was just hearing things...but Chiron heard it too.

As I turned to leave, the whispering continued one last time, "Beth." I swung around to face the oracle. Dark orbs stared into me, but once it began to talk it's eyes became a sickly green. It wasn't exactly talking- I mean instead of it's mouth moving, I heard words in my mind.

"Six demigods shall travel south to the peach state,

this is where the goddess of strife awaits,

beware that traitors are amongst your camp,

decisions will come that will be hard to choose,

she always has an idea of the next move,

in the end there is too much to loose."

I gasped for air after realizing that I'd been holding my breath. I jumped away from the figure, it couldn't be... There hasn't been a prophecy for decades. I nearly tripped over myself as I raced out of the room and down the ladder.

I shook my head in disbelief, this all had to be fake. I was ready for Lia to jump out and shout "Pranked!" like she always had, but the only person in sight was Chiron.

"What did you hear?" His voice was low and shaky.

I sighed, I didn't want this to be real, but at the same time I'd been hoping to be a part of a prophecy ever since I got to camp. Now that the moment was hear, I didn't want it to be real.

I explained how the oracle came to life, how it talked about a turned goddess, and I tried my best to repeat the exact words of the prophecy.

"Go to bed." He ordered.
