"Brooklyn hurry up we don't want to miss our flight!" Yelled my dad (Mr Matthews) from downstairs. I rolled my eyes then replied.

"Coming! I just have one more box to bring downstairs!" I replied. Let me introduce myself.

Hi I'm Brooklyn Matthews. A very shy, sweet , funny and friendly , kind  of person. I am a soon to be freshman at  Hinterlands High. Right now we are packing to move from New York City to Canada reason why? My dad got a new job as a senior soccer coach, which is at Hinterlands High in Canada. Basically it's only my dad and I, my mother had pasted away when I was 2 years old. I'm 14 now but still gets treated like a child, I've been home schooled by my dad so I've never really gotten into any social activities, plus my dad is super over protective but I still love him.

I lifted the heavy box and started to walk out of my old room, but before I did, I turned around just to admire my room one last time before I left it forever. "Bye old friend." I said with a smile on my face as I turned around to go downstairs. Dad was waiting for me with his arms folded.

"If we're late it's your fault." He said in a jokey tone. I nudded his arm as he took the box of me to put it into the truck that helped us transport all our things.

"Shall we go to the airport sweetie?" Dad asked me. I nodded my head and he put his arm around me to show me where the door was. Obviously I knew where it was just him being him.

As we exited the house.
"Wait!" I shouted. I ran back inside and hugged the wall. I was really gonna miss this house.

"Are you okay?" Dad asked in a concerned tone.

"Ya... I'm fine just saying my last goodbyes." I said letting go from the wall as I walked towards my dad.

"Trust me you will love where we're staying in Canada." He said looking at me. I just nodded my head.

We finally got into the car I sat in the passengers side as dad drove away from our old house.

"Dad can I turn theme radio on please?" I asked.

"Ok." He replied with his eyes still fixed on the road. I flipped through the stations until I heard mine and my dad's favourite song Panic At The Disco-Death Of A Bachelor. Dad sang along but I didn't. I felt to shy.

Out of nowhere my tummy made this loud rumbling sounds.
"Dad can we get something to eat please?" I said holding my stomach. I was so busy that I forgot to eat.

"Sure we'll go to the McDonald's drive through." Dad said with a smile. I really loved their McFizz drinks the watermelon flavour and their salt fries, the burgers I never really cared much for. Dad put in our order and I immediately dug into my fries.

When I had finished I simply just had to give my dad a hug.

"Are we almost by the airport?" I moaned feeling car sick.

"Huh... We are now." My dad said smiling while pointing to the huge building which was the airport.

My dad and I had to go to gate 5. I wide smile grew on my face as we settled down on the aeroplane. This was my first time on one it felt amazing but scary because I watched so much movies where aeroplanes crash and the survivors have to eat on the dead bodies of the other passengers.

"Dad , I'm scared." I said as my eyes widened with fear.

"Don't be honey. I'm here with you." He reached for his pocket and pulled out a pill.
"Can I get a bottle of water please?" Dad asked the flight attendant.

"Sure thing sir." She said. She was beautiful, with her red hair and freckles. She brought the water and gave it to my dad.

"Here take this. It will help you relax." My dad said handing me the pill.

"What will it do to me?" I questioned.

"It will help you to fall asleep." He said while handing me the bottle of water. I took it from him and swallowed the pill. After 20 minutes my eye bags began to feel heavy. I didn't hesitate to relax and fall asleep. I enjoyed that feeling when your about to fall asleep I don't know how to explain it but I like it.
