Josh's family is so sweet. Surprisingly I felt comfortable being around them. Right now we are all eating at the dinner table. Nishay sure can cook, her food was delicious. They asked me a couple of questions about myself, my family etc.
"So Brooklyn why did you guys move to Canada?" Mr Landon's asked me.
"Umm....well my dad got a job here as a senior soccer coach, so we had to move from New York to Canada." I explain very quickly.
"Oh do you like it here?" Nishay asked.
"Yes I do actually, it's very quiet and peaceful."
"Have you made any friends... well besides Joshua?" Morgan asked.
"I have, I made lots of friends here everyone is extremely sweet and polite." I told them. I was kinda getting sick of answering so many questions ,but if they asked me I didn't want them to not like me.
We all finished eating, Nishay and I had taken in all the plates and cups.
"May I help you clean up?" I asked her.
"It would be a pleasure if you would. I'll dry off." Nishay told me.
I had made the water warm and bubbly. I clean't everything and Nishay dried off everything. I enjoyed bonding with her. She might have been older than me but she was still fun to be around.
"Do you know where Josh might be?" I asked her before I left the kitchen.
"He might me in his room. It's the third door on the left." She told me.
I followed her instructions and went upstairs. I found Josh's door and knocked.
"Come in." He said. I walked in his room and he was sitting by his laptop. For a guy his room was so clean and neat. Josh had a fairly big room and hug flat screen tv. His room was a aqua blue, my favorite color.
"Hey what's up?" He asked making his voice girly.
"Nothing just checking up on my gay boyfriend." I joked. Him and I laughed. Then his face went seriou-ish.
"I'm not gay. If I were you and I would have never been together." He joked.
"Your funny." I said. I threw myself on his bed and relaxed. A silence grew between us, but it was more of a peaceful silence than a awkward silence.
"So what do you think of my family?" Josh asked.
"Their so sweet and friendly I like em." I said with enthusiasm.
"Great... but one last question." Josh said. I sat up and gave him a confused look.
"Yes what is it?" I said slowly.
"Are you and I going to prom together?" He asked shyly. I thought about it but I wanted to be asked properly, I wanted to tease him a bit.
"No."I said trying to seem serious.
"No,b-but why not?" Josh asked. He seem confused and a bit disappointed.
"I want to be asked properly." I said with a smile on my face.
"Fine give me until tomorrow and I'll 'surprise' you." Josh said. He added sarcasm to the word 'surprise'.
"Okayyyyyy." I dragged the y.
Josh and I played a hidden objects game on his laptop. It was fun but Josh kept on wanting to use the hints. He gives up to quickly sometimes, it that's what made him seem cuter. He is fricking adorable when he gets all worked up.
