Chapter 13

Josh's P.O.V

After I left the janitors closet I heard Brooklyn.

"JOSH WAIT!!!!" She yelled. I walked faster until I couldn't see or hear her anymore. I can't believe her.

I really thought that she liked me but she just wants to be 'friends'. I thought we had something special. I don't want her to explain because she will just make up more excuses.

I walked over to my locker and got my books. I closed my lockers and nearly jumped out of my socks. It was Alex.

"What's up dude?" Alex said while leaning on the other locker doors.

"Nothing." I told him.

"Joshua you know I know you better than anyone else and I know that you bothered... so spill it." Alex told me. He was so right.

We walked to class and I told him
"Brooklyn was super mad at me for saying that I had no feelings for her which I only told her dad that because I didn't want to be out of our first game. Brooklyn overheard and was upset with me. I took her to the gardens and I kissed her. She liked me to and everything was so much fun but then I heard her tell her dad that she wanted to stay friends and I didn't want her to explain because she'd just lie and say that likes me when we really doesn't." I told him.

"That's pretty messed up." Alex said.

"I know what do I do?"

"Talk to her and hear he side of the story first then make decisions."

I nodded my head as we walked to class on the way I saw Brooklyn with Olivia. I just shot Brooklyn a dont-talk-to-me look.

Olivia's P.O.V

Brooklyn sent me a text saying that as he wants to talk to me. I replied and told her to meet me by my locker.

She came towards me and I could tell something was wrong with her I walked over to her quickly.

"What's wrong Brooke?" I asked her.

"No." Her voice broke and she started crying. I pulled her to the bathroom and her hot tears soaked into my t-shirt.

"What happened Brooklyn talk to me?" I told her. She explained everything to me.

"Oh my gosh. You have to tell him your side of the story Brooke." I told her.

"I know but his pretty mad at me so I don't want to upset him and further." She said while whipping her tears off her face.

"Do you want me to talk to him for you?"

"No, I need to do this by myself."

I felt bad for her "Do you want to go back outside?" I asked her.

"Ya I think I'm ready." She told me.

We walked to class and on our way we saw Josh and Alex walking to class.

Brooklyn turned to me and said
"Can we go the other way please."

"No." I said sternly.

We looked over at Josh who was shooting Brooklyn some mean looks. She'd be dead if looks could kill her.

Brooklyn's P.O.V

When Josh shot me looks my heart broke. I wanted to talk to him so badly but I couldn't. When he entered his class I was slightly relieved because that means I don't have to see him again.

I walked to class and sat by desk. Olivia went to her class so I could only see her at lunch.

I took my seat and just waited for my teacher to come in. The door opened and I hoped that it was my teacher but it wasn't. It was a guy in my clad that I've never  spoken to at all. He had ash blonde hair with light green eyes. He was a total bad boy and hot too but he seemed very self centered.

He took the seat next to me and asked before he sat down.
"May I....?" He asked pointing to the seat.

"Yeah." I said. I looked at the white board and just day dreamed about everything that happened with me and Josh.

"I'm Jacob Porter by the way and you are?" He he said while holding out his hand for me to shake it. I did so and said "I'm Brooklyn Matthews."

"Nice to meet you Brooklyn." He said then giving me a smile. His teeth were so white and perfect. He had a gorgeous smile too.

"Same to you Jacob." I said back.

"Looks like Mr Hanks isn't in today." He told me. I looked at him and asked
"Why you say that?"

"Because look at the time...." He pointed to the watch "His usually early and ready to torture our fingers." I had to giggle at his stupid joke. Just then the door swung open loudly everyone's eyes were on it to see who was walking in...
