In a few minutes time I'm getting my operation. I'm scared.

"Dad." I called him. He looked up at me.

"Yes Brooklyn?"

"I love you."

"I love you too." He's eyes filled with tears.

I looked over to Josh who had spent the whole night with my dad and I here. He was so positive and supporting.

"Brooklyn don't be afraid." He told me. I leaned over to give him a hug.

"I love you Josh." I whispered in his ear.

"I love you more." He said. It made me feel happy to hear him say that.

"Are you ready Miss Matthew's?" The nurse asked.

"As ready as I'll ever be." I said. Josh and my dad couldn't come with me inside the operation room.

When I got into the theater I was shacking. I saw lots of sharp stuff that made me even more nervous. I said a pray before the doctor walked in.

"Miss Matthew's please wear this mask." He said then handed me the mask.

"What will it do to me?" I asked. The mask only covered my mouth.

"It will make you fall asleep." He said. I put the mask on doubting that it will make me fall asleep. But to my surprise in One.....Two......Three...... I was fast asleep.

Josh's P.O.V

Before Brooke went into the operation room I told her that I loved her. It might have been a little to soon but I do and I want her to know that.

I looked over at coach who was shacking slightly. I could understand why if my daughter should have colon cancer I would be frustrated myself.
I decided to comfort Coach a little.

"Coach, everything will be alright."

"Joshua your really positive, but look at it, at my point of view. Brooklyn has stage 4 colon cancer and she's so young. I have to come to terms that she may have to for chemotherapy and I don't want her to, and neither does she. It will take a marical if they can cut all the cancer out successfully." Coach told me.

"And they will, this is one of the best doctor's in the country that's doing her operation. She will be fine." I tried to reassure him. I'm frightened that I might loose Brooklyn when I just got her. I won't loose her.

"All we can do know is leave it in God's hands. We just need to pray." Coach said. We prayed and prayed.

I made a promise to God that if he saves Brooklyn then I will be a better person, and I will live a proper life and all my horrible ways I will change. If he gives me, my old Brooklyn back.

It's been 7 hour's since Brooklyn had gone into the operation room, and that scared me because I thought that the quick they take the more successful the operation will be or something like that.

After a good 10 minutes Brooklyn's doctor came out. Coach and I literally ran to him.

"How did the operation go. Is she ok?" Coach asked.

"The operation was successful, but she has to satay here for a week so that we can monitor her and see if there will be a need for the chemotherapy." The doctor made us happy by saying that the operation went well. Coach and I hugged each other and tears of joy came down our faces.

"See Coach we're gonna survive this hell hole." I told him. We broke the hug after a few tears were out.

"When can we see her?" Coach asked.

"You can see her only in 2 hour's time. If I were you go home, shower, have something to eat then come back." The doctor said before walking off. He gave us a smile.

"I don't want to leave Brooklyn alone here." I told coach.

"Neither do I. I don't want to leave her side for a second." He said.

"I'll go home and then I'll come back. Then you go home while I'm here and you get done and come back." I suggested.

"Ok."

I phoned Alex to pick me up at the hospital. I had to explain to him why and what happened to Brooklyn.

"Ok I'll be there in 15 minutes. When Brooke wakes up tell her that I send me regards." Alex said.

"Ok bye."

"Bye."

Alex dropped me home. I never opened the door yet but he asked me something.

"Can Olivia and I visit Brooklyn?" He asked.

"Sure you can wait inside my house. " I told him. We both got out and I got done with everything I needed. I changed into a black flannel and a dark blue jeans. I was hungry and I just made some noodles for Alex and I. While eating Alex asked me a question again.

"Do you love her?" He asked.

"Yes I do, very much."

"Does Coach know?"

"Yes and he approves of our relationship."

"That's wonderful news man."

"I know but now this came up and her and I have to go threw. I told her that I'll be there for her and that I loved her."

"She knows that and she loves you too."

"Thanks for listening Alex."

"Pleasure. Olivia said that we should pick her up."

"Ok I'll tell coach that you two are coming."

"Ok."

Me: Coach. Alex and Olivia would like to visit Brooklyn and their coming with me to the hospital.

Coach: It's fine. It's good to know that Olivia is coming.

Me: Is Brooklyn up yet?

Coach: She wakes up for a few seconds then goes back to sleep.

Me:Ok we'll be there in a few minutes.

Coach: Ok.

Alex and I drove to his house and picked up Olivia. Her eyes looked a little red. She got in a immediately asked me questions.

"How's Brooklyn doing?"

"Her operation went well and she will have to stay in the hospital for a week so that they can monitor her and see if there will be a need for the chemotherapy."

"So if they cut all the cancer out then she won't have to go for chemotherapy?"

"Yes the doctor said that it went successful."

"Good to know. Is she awake yet?"

"Her dad says that she wakes up for a few seconds then goes back to sleep."

"Oh.... did you tell coach about you two?"

"He figured it out himself and he approves of our relationship."

"Ok an-" I cut her off.

"Can we please just drop the topic and talk about it later please." I asked. She nodded her head and sat silently.
