Chapter 19

Josh's P.O.V

It was a hilarious to watch Brooklyn cover her face when the horror scenes came on. I laughed at her. She shot me a look.

"It's not funny, I don't get how you can watch this nonsense." She told me burying her face into my shirts again.

"I'm a guy it's normal." I told her she lifted her head and went to the kitchen.

"Where you going?" I asked.

"To get some pizza I'm hungry."

"Wait for me I'm hungry too." I followed her into the kitchen.

She got two plates and two cups. I took out a slice of pizza for her and myself. She poured us Pepsi then handed my cup to me. I couldn't help but stare at how beautiful she looked.

"What you starring at?" She asked.

"Something very beautiful that's standing in front of me." I told her.
She blushed and then said

"That's sweet."

I decided to make a joke and tell her
"I wasn't talking about you I'm talking about that picture on the fridge." I held my laugh back. Brooklyn tensed up and punched my arm lightly she wasn't very strong.

"Asshole." She said to me. She walked towards the living room but I hugged her by the waist and pulled her back into the kitchen. I swung her a bit.

"Put me down Joshua." She giggled.

"Neveeeeeeer" I dragged the 'e'. She laughed and I laughed. I eventually got tired so I pout her down. She then looked confused.

"What's wrong?"

"Joshua what are we exactly?"

"We are whatever you want use to be." I told her. She smiled then hugged me.

We ate our pizza by the kitchen table and drank our drinks.

"Do you like seafood?" She asked while chewing her pizza.

"Yeah...why?" I asked suspiciously.

She opened her mouth and I saw everything that was inside her mouth.

"See- food." She joked.

"That's gross dude, your so immature." I teased her.

"And so are you." She commented.

When we finished eating I washed up and she packing it away.
We went to the living room and I unpause the movie. She sat his my legs stretched out and her head on my lap. I played with her hair which caused her to fall asleep. She looked so peaceful in her sleep but when she's awake she a ball of energy. I decided to carry her to her room.

I kicked her door open and place her under the cover, I was about to leave but she grabbed my hand I turned to look at her. Her eyes were still closed.

"Stay here..... with me Josh." She said.

"Ok I'll stay." I said. I stood there next to her bed.

"Lay her next to me." She said. I got on the bed and placed a alarm on my phone for 06:45 so that I can leave her room before her dad comes home. I wrapped my arms around her waist , then pulled her closer to me. She was adorable. I fall asleep next to the girl that I LOVE. That's right I said love. I love Brooklyn Matthews, the daughter of my soccer coach, a freshman , a matured 14 year old with a big heart and a loving personality.

BUZZ, BUZZ, BUZZ!!!!!!!

My alarm went off. I didn't want to get up but I had to. I switched my phone off and turned to look at Brooklyn. She was fast asleep. I tried to movie out of her bed quickly so I don't wake her. I was startled when she grabbed my arm and pulled me back down.

"Where do you think your going Landon's." She pouted.

"Out of your room before you Dad comes home."

"I'll get up with you." She said.

"No it's cool I need to study anyways so you can sleep some more." I told her. I really needed to get nothing lower than a D in my report.

"Are you sure?" She asked.

"Positive."

"Negative?"

"No, you talk to much." I told her. I gave her a peek on her cheek and made my way to the living room. I took my books out and began to study. This really sucked!!!
