Chapter 36: Prom!!!

Brooklyn's P.O.V

When Barbara and I got home. She handed my dad his credit card. I dashed up the stairs and took my tweezers to touch up on my eyebrows.  It never took long since I did it 2 weeks ago.

I went into my room and put some deodorant on then slipped into my prom dress. I struggled to zip it up.

"Barbara could you help me?!" I shouted from upstairs. I heard footsteps, then saw Barbara.

"What do you need hun?" She asked me. I turned around and pointed to the zip. She kindly zipped it up and then she took my shoes out of my closet. I place on my white Levi's that I bought. I sprayed my perfume that I got for my birthday.

I looked in my jewellery box and put on my bracelet . The charms on it were all butterflies. I put my silver earrings in, I placed my phone in my purse. While I was twirling around in my mirror I noticed that Olivia was by the door frame laughing at me.

"Sorry, but I've never seen you act like a girly girl." She said through her laugh. I walked up to her and gave her a hug. I missed her even though I saw her yesterday.

"You look amazballs!" I announced to her.

"No we look amazballs." I laughed at how big her ego has gotten since she has been hanging with Adian.

"Ready to go to Brooke?" She asked.

"I sure am." I took her arm and locked it with mine. I like to call it "a hook in".

We walked downstairs and my dad took pictures of the both of us. My eyes hurt from all the flashes of the camera.

"We're going to drive you two to Madison's house so we can get pictures of you girls and your dates." My dad announced. We got into the car and sat still because knowing us we would find a way to mess up our makeup.

Madison's house wasn't really that far it was only like a 15 minute drive.

When we pulled up our mouths dropped. The car that Madison's dad got us for prom was a limo but a white jeep limo...does that make sense? It looked amazing.
Madison walked out and so did Josh, Alex , Adian and David but my joy was cut short when I saw Zoe. What a nerve, she cheats on Josh and still has the decency to show her face. She wore a short, when I say short I mean short black dress that had thin straps her heels were high and black. She looked beautiful but I won't tell her that.

"Look who decide to show her face." Olivia said in annoyance before we got out of the car. Madison and the guys gave us a tight bear hug but Zoe cleared her throat so they all pulled away. She glared at me, so I did the same I wasn't going to let her intimidate me.

"Brooklyn y-ou look beautiful." Josh stuttered a little as he gave me a hug. We were matching he had a white tux with a aqua tie.

"You look great too Josh." I told him. He looked at my shoes then back at me.

"Your not the typical girl who would were heels.... I like that." Josh said. I blushed and did the hook in with him.
Our parents all told us to get our partners so they could take pictures.

Wow if this is just a small experience of what it feels like to be like a celebrity then no thanks it's better being normal.

My eyes needed to adjust a bit ,while our parents went into a conversation.

The girls and I, including Zoe complemented each other. I could see in the corner of my eye that Josh was staring at me. I can't wait for prom.

"Ok kids get in the car. It's time for our Cinderella's and Prince Charmings to go to the ball!" Madison's mom yelled at us. We all laughed and got into the car. Josh and I sat together. Zoe tried to sit next to Josh but luckily Olivia saw and sat next to Josh.

I dont know what Zoe's up to but she better not try her luck with Josh.
