Brooklyn's P.O.V
When I walked into my room I saw Josh stand across my bedroom with my diary in his hands.
"What are you doing?" I said looking sat him then to my diary. I couldn't believe it was he reading my diary?
"I saw this book and I had decided to read it." He said looking at me nervously. I felt my face turn read but this was out of anger.
"You don't read people's diaries Josh." I said expressionless.
"Sorry I didn't mean to." He said. I gave him a death look. I walked over to him and grabbed my diary out of his hands.
"You think him cute?" He said with a smirk on his face. I was upset that he read it I just looked to the floor.
"Are we leaving or what?" I changed the subject.
"Ok let's go. Oh I put your backpack into my car already." He tell me.
"Ok." I said to him with my Aaron's folded.
We got into his car and it was silent until we got to Alex and Olivia's house. They came out and we all greeted each other.
Olivia and I were having some girl talk.
"So have you seen any cute boys lately?" Olivia asked me with a smile on her face."H-huh I don't think so." I stuttered slightly.
Josh coughed which made us look at him. I think he was listening to our conversation.
"Yes Josh." Olivia says.
"Nothing just clearing my throat." He said. I just rolled my eyes at him, his so childish for his age.
We arrived at school and got out of the car, then all of a sudden Josh takes my backpack and starts to run with it.
"Give my backpack Josh!" I yelled running after him. Hollow sun shine was he fast I could keep up but I kept my eye on him. He ran into a hall which I think is where the basketball players practise and stuff.
I opened the door and saw that it was empty but then I felt someone grab me from behind. It was Josh he turned me around so I could be facing him.
"I knew you can't stay away from me." He joked with a smile. I blushed.
"Don't flatter yourself I just came to get my backpack from you." I stated.
"Oh so you didn't come to see me." He said smiling so adorably.
"No now can I have my backpack please." I said. His eyes met mine and we just starred at each other for a while. When he wasn't paying attention I grabbed my backpack out of his hands and began to run playfully. He ran after me. Next thing I know I'm being lifted up by Josh and he's spinning me around, was this guy a vampire of something his so fast?
When he puts me down I'm so dizzy I can hardly stand. Luckily Josh helped me keep my balance.
"My gosh your fast." I said out of breath.
"I'm not your just very slow." He teased me. I punched him playful and he pretend to be hurt.
"Let's get to class drama queen." I said sarcastically to him. He chuckled and we walked to our classes. Before I entered my class I looked back and Josh was walking away but then Zoe hugged him. He just looked at her and said" Zoe we need to talk." She nodded and that was all I heard.
The whole day I was wondering what him and Zoe had to talk about. I was in English class. We had to write a poem about ourselves. I had no idea what I was going to write about. I starred at the blank page when the classroom door opened up. I looked up to see that my dad had walked in.
"Good day ma'am I would like to speak to my daughter Brooklyn please." My dad said.
"Sure, Brooklyn." She said. I stood up and started walking toward my dad he pulled me into the hallway and we spoke privately.
"Sweetie tonight we're practising late because our first soccer game is in few weeks time so you might have to stay late here with me because your babysitter Josh is one of the most important players so he can babysitter tonight." He said.
"It's cool I don't mind." I said sweetly. My dad hugged me and said
"Thanks for being so understandable Brooklyn."He told me."I get it from you dad." I told him. He pulled away from the hug and told me
"Enjoy your day and remember no boys." He said seriously. I nodded my head. My dad and I were having so much fun but he had to go into overprotective mode.
