We all went into the hospital together and walked up to coach. Olivia ran and hugged coach she began to let tears fall from her face. Brooklyn and her are best friends so she is very upset about this whole situation.

"Coach how is she?" Alex and I asked at the same time. Olivia just whipped her tears from her face quietly.

"She's still sleeping but the doctor said that she might wake up soon." Coach said.

"Coach we can stay with her while you go home and take a shower." I told him.

"I don't want to leave her alone." He argued.

"But you won't she'll be with us." Olivia said. She had finally calmed down a bit.

"Oh ok but if anything happens call me immediately." Coach said. We all nodded then coach left the building.

"Hey can we go inside?" I asked one of the nurses.

"Yes, but she's not awake yet." The nurse said. I thanked her band she walked off. Olivia, Alex and I went into Brooklyn's room. Brooklyn looked tired and she had a little bit of dark rings around her eyes. I kills me to see her like this.

Olivia ran to her and held her hand. Immediately she started crying.
"Hey Brooklyn. I've missed you. Alex, Josh and I are here your dad went to get somethings done at home, but he will be back." She said through her sobbing.

Alex and I went over to her and we sat next to her bed. We all started talking about how we met Brooklyn and what she wore that day. We tried to talk to Brooklyn, who was still asleep.

"Olivia remember our first game when you and Brooklyn gave us a pep talk?" Alex reminded her.

"Yeah, her and I were joking about the game and stuff. The pep talk thing was her idea." Olivia said.

Just then someone walked in. Olivia stood up and ran to hug her.

"Madison what are you doing here?" Olivia asked Madison.

"Alex told me about what happened to Brooklyn and I just had to see her." Madison said.

"Thank you Alex." Olivia said.

"Pleasure."

Madison sat down with us and she gave Brooklyn a kiss on her cheek. I could tell that Madison and her were very close with each other. We all spoke to each other then we decided to ask each other questions about who know Brooklyn the best. Olivia ended up wining and Alex came last because he never knew Brooklyn well but they were friend's.

Just then Brooklyn opened her eyes. I gasped in excitement.

"Brooklyn...." I said. Everyone starred as Brooklyn woke up.

"I'll go call the doctor." Alex said. Madison followed him.

Brooklyn turned her head to me and then to Olivia.

"Hi." Brooklyn said very softly.

"Try not to talk to much ok." Olivia told her. She nodded her head.

I kissed Brooklyn's cheek and said
"I'm happy your awake."
She smiled at me but turned her head to the door when her dad walked in then shortly after so did the doctor. Her dad kissed her forehead and smiled.

"Miss Matthew's how are you feeling?" The doctor asked.

"Ok just exhausted. When can I go home?" She asked.

"You will stay here for a week then if the cancer is still there you will have to go for chemotherapy." The doctor said.

Brooklyn looked upset. She never said anything after that.

"When will you check if the cancer is gone?" I asked.

"On Friday we will be able to but right now she needs to rest." There doctor said.

"You guys can all go home. Thanks for being good friend's for Brooklyn." Coach said.

"Its a pleasure." Olivia said. They all hugged Brooklyn and then left. I stayed behind.

"Coach I'm staying here with you." I told him.

"No you should go home you parents will be worried." He argued.

"I will tell them not to. I'm not leaving." I said sternly.

"He won't leave." I heard someone say I looked over to Brooklyn who had just told her dad that. I felt overjoyed that she wants me to stay with her.

"Ok, ok, fine he can stay." Coach gave in. He said that he didn't want to see her unhappy. I sat down on the hospital bed where Brooklyn was laying. Her and I started talking like it was normal again.

"I know that I'm sick but please don't treat me any differently." She told me.

"I promise I won't." I told her with a smile. I can't wait for Brooklyn to get better which she will.
