IN LOVE WITH MY BABYSITTER

Chapter 29

Josh and I stood on the soccer field. I couldn't stop smiling at him. Then the thoughts of what am I going to wear? Will there be dancing? I have no idea how to dance.

"I still can't believe you did all that for me." I said with a smile. "This was one of the sweetest things anybody has done for me..."

"It was worth it, seeing you so happy ,it was priceless and I will never forget it" He teased.

"You make me feel so special Joshua." I said shyly.

"You are special." He said and hugged me.

Josh and I walked to the locker rooms. I waited outside for Josh who was getting dressed.

"ARE YOU DONE YET?!" I shouted. I began to become impatient.

"ALMOST!!!" Josh shouted from inside the room.

He finally came outside and I let out a long sigh. He grabs my hand and pulls me towards his friend's Aidan, David and Alex.

"Hey Joshy..." Aidan teased Josh with a mocking baby voice. David and Alex laughed. I bit my lip to hold back my laugh but I failed miserably. I almost collapsed to the ground but Josh was holding me so he helped me recover from almost falling.

"Hey don't call me that anymore and what you dorks up to?" Josh threw back at them. I laughed lightly.

"We may be dorks but we your dorks." David commented.

I laughed.

Josh looked at me then at David, and said,"Thanks for embarrassing me in front of my girlfriend."

"Oh are your girlfriend now...?" Alex says. He folds his arms and raises an eyebrow. He taps his foot on the ground waiting for an answer.

"Yes, you have a problem with it?" Josh asked. I couldn't help but turn a shade of pink.

"Nope just interested." Alex said.

Olivia appeared in front of us. She smiled then turned her attention to Josh and I.

"What's up?" I asked her. I snapped her out of her thoughts.

"Nothing just wondering if you would wanna go dress shopping with me?" She asked.

"I'd love too!" I said with excitement.

"Great let's go." Olivia said. She grabbed my arm and wanted to start walking, but was stopped by Aidan. She turned around and gave him a weird look.

"What are you doing?" She asked, raising her eyebrows.

"Olivia I wanted to ask you something..." Aidan said nervously before rubbing the back of his neck nervously then continued "will you go to prom with me?"

Olivia looked shocked but before she could reply she looked at Alex who tensed up and began to look red. I think his big brother instincts kicked in. I walked over to Alex and pulled him aside to clam him down.

"Alex calm down take a breather." I told him. He huffed out a puff of air and leaned his head backwards.

"Look the thing that's got me bother is that she's younger than him and what if he breaks her heart. I know that his been crushing on her since this year,  but-" I cut him off. His becoming like how my dad used to be with me.

"She is old enough to handle her emotions. You made mistakes before now let her make her make hers life is all about making mistakes and learning from them, let her live her life." I told him. He seemed to have calmed down a bit. He nods at me and we walk be to the Olivia, Aidan, Josh, David and Alex.

"Yes." We heard Olivia say. Aidan smiled.

"So you'd go with me?" He asked. Olivia hugged him before whispering a small.

"Yes."

Alex cleared out his throat then Olivia looked at Alex and so did Aidan.

"Is it ok with you Alex." Aidan asked.
Alex gave his friend a little smile and nodded. Everyone just stood in a awkward silence.

"So how about going dress shopping now?" I asked Olivia. She smiled and nodded. Off we went.
