It was morning and I was dreading getting up I was gonna ditch school but remembered that I had a test I got up washed my face I put on my foundation so that you couldn't see how red my face was darn my pale skin I finished I went downstairs Ben and Samantha at the table I knew I had fucked up the one thing we always did was eat breakfast together

"Well mom and dad are pissed off thanks, Lexi" My sister got up

"Why don't you shut up and go get an abortion" My sister became mad

"Samantha just go" Ben told her Samantha stormed away

"Hey Lexi" I just made a gesture with my head

"You okay" I shook my head

"It's gonna be okay" He came over to me hugged me

"Also next time you have your friend come over keep it down "he raised his eyebrows and smiled at me I just laughed

"You too" He knew what I meant

"Come on we have to get to school"I nodded grabbed an apple we went out he got in his car then I got in my Dodge Charger me and my brother raced I won like always I got my stuff in my locker room I looked around I felt someone stare at me when I looked to my right there was Daniel with his friends he had said bye to his friends he started to make his way towards me I turned around to walk away to leave

"Lexi" I knew it was him I kept walking I was about to get into my classroom when someone grabbed my arm turned me around he pulled me over to the lockers

"What do you want Daniel" I didn't want to talk to him or anyone actually

"Are you still mad?"

"Yeah you won't tell me something even though I've told you things no one knows and you can't simply tell me 2 simple things I haven't asked you about your family or your past cause that's for you to tell me if you want but I just want to know two things and also"I held the number 2 with my fingers

"I don't want to tell you because what if you get scared of me?"

"So What? Let me get scared then show me you'll protect me and then we will see if I am really scared"

"And what if I can't?"His eyes became soft I reached up to touch his cheek

"Tell me what I'm getting myself into?" I stroked his jawline

"I can't"He whispered it he looked down no longer looking into my eyes I took my hand down

"Then I don't want to be anywhere close to you Daniel, we can't be friends when only one of us tries I'm sorry" I turned around I walked into class I heard something hit a locker I decided to leave after 3rd period I walked into the house my mother was on the couch

"Lexiane your father wants to talk to you he is in his study"She didn't even look at me

"Okay" I walked over knocked I heard a come in

"You wanted to see me, dad"

"Yes, sit" I put my bag down then sat down

"Yesterday talk wasn't the way to go about and that was my fault but the way you answered back wasn't okay"

"I know it wasn't, and I should have never said anything and I'm sorry but I'm not going to take back anything I said"

"You are definitely my daughter you don't hold anything back now about that boy?"He sat farther back into his chair and so did I, I looked down at my hands

"You like him around don't you"I looked back up and nodded

"But we are no longer friends, unfortunately"I bit my bottom lip

"But you like him around and I know that he is the only one that understands you because the rest of us are nuts go after him don't let anything stop you"My dad stood up sat on the chair next to me

"Well then can I not be grounded today so that I can see him"I put my hands together and did the puppy face

"Fine just not for tonight"

"Ohh thank you now I have to go back to school and find him"I hugged him I grabbed my bag ran out of the study I was just about to grab my keys

"Where do you think you are going? You're still grounded"

"Dad said not today and I'm going back to school so I'll see you later" I grabbed then ran out of the house I parked my car I looked over to where Daniel's and his friend's usual park their motorcycle I didn't see Daniel's motorcycle I ran to the place where they hung out I only saw Jesse

"Jesse" He turned towards me

"Yes" He seemed mad to see me

"I'm sure Daniel told you what happened between us"He crossed his arms on his chest then nodded

"But I need your help to find him, Where can I find him?"I begged him then did the puppy face he sighed

"He's going to kill me but because I like you enough to not hate you he will be at the club at 9:30 tonight"I got happy and hugged him I let him go I walked over to my car I decided to try and find Daniel instead of just going to the club later remembering what happened last time but with no luck I couldn't find him
