The Perfect Family

Meeting Daniel

I was at school it was lunch and I was sitting underneath a tree I need to be alone before dealing with anyone from the school I was writing in my journal when it was snatched out of my hands

"What are you writing sis?"I looked up to see Ben and Alan

"Give it back Ben" I got up tried to take it back but they kept throwing the book between both of them

"Please, give it back to me" I begged them I had stopped trying to get it back

"She said to give it back to her"All 3 of us turned around to see the guys from yesterday

"Stay out of this, she is my sister I do what I want" Ben and Alan had gotten close to him and Xavier

"I'm not going to repeat myself Benjamin you give her back the book or me and Xavier here will throw you in the trash can"The guy intimidated my brother and I loved it Ben turned around gave me back my journal him and Alan turned and left there was only me and the 2 guys standing there

"I'll see you later dude" Xavier patted the other guys back then left his stare never left mine

"Umm thanks can I buy you a soda or something for the help?"He made me nervous and I didn't know why I didn't even know who he was

"No thanks" His voice was cold it send chills up and down my spine he was mysterious he turned around started walking away from me

"You can at least tell me your name"I screamed at him he turned around

"Daniel"He then turned back around walked away I said his name in my head the bell rung telling us all to go to class I walked to gym class I put everything in my locker changed into shorts that were way too short for the girl most girl had really really tight shirts I wore a loose one I went into the gym people were already there when everyone got inside they told us we'd be running one of my favorite things to do I had my phone and headphone we walked down to the field we had to run a mile I put in my headphones he told us to started my pace was fine for the beginning I slowly started to increase my speed when I finished I went to sit on the bench everyone else in my class was running I was tying my shoes when someone sat next to me I could see the dark jeans with converse when I looked up Daniel was sitting there I took off my headphones put my phone down on the bench

"You're pretty fast out there" He didn't look at me just stared at the field with people running some throwing up

"I enjoy it, I know if I ever want to get away from my family I can always run"I was looking at the field as well

"I thought you and your family were the perfect family"

"We're not it's all for show...don't quote me on that"I told him quickly he laughed I looked at him he looked pretty cute when he laughed

"Your class is leaving"I looked over at the class walking up I got up

"Bye Daniel" I turned around to leave

"Bye Lexi" I walked back to the locker room and changed I went on the rest of the day all that was on my mind was Daniel the day went by I went to the dance club after school we were working on our dance for the concert in 3 months

"Alright guys what's everyone dancing?"Janice the president to the club asked everyone we all usually made a dance to perform in the club told her then it got to me

"I'm doing the song 'No by Meghan Trainor' with Kylie and Crystal "I informed her while looking at my journal

"That's sounds great remember everyone your attires have to be..." before she can finish someone opened the door I didn't look up I was writing in my journal

"Yes, can I help you with something?"I heard Janice ask

"You can't, I'm looking for Lexi"I looked up as soon as I heard my name there stood Daniel 3 times in a day now that was weird I got up excused myself I pushed Daniel out the door with me he leaned on the lockers

"Yes, can I help you with something?"I asked him he just stared at me

"Earth to Daniel, Earth to Daniel" I waved my hand in front of his face he realized I was talking to him

"Sorry, I was distracted thinking of something you left your phone on the bench when you got up to leave"He held it out to me I grabbed it when my hand made contact with his I send chills up and down my spine I had never felt this before I pulled my phone away from him

"Thanks I didn't even notice I had left it"

"Distracted by something" He asked

"Or someone" I realized what came out of my mouth

"Anyways there you go see yah"He got off the lockers walked away I just stared at him when he turned the corner I walked back into the classroom I checked my phone someone had been on it and I could only guess it was Daniel I didn't mind we got to dancing
