Let It All Out

I had spent the whole day with Perla when I left her side I made sure I was quick I didn't want anything to happen to her it 11:45 

"I'm gonna go you should go to sleep it's late"I looked up at the clock on the wall

"You're gonna go home alone?"

"Yes, just like every other day sweetheart"

"I'll drive you home it's late I don't think you should walk the street alone" She opened her mouth to say something "And I'm not taking no for an answer let's go" I grabbed my keys I told my dad I was gonna take her he said to hurry back we got in the care halfway there she fell asleep when we arrived at the house I helped her out of the car Daniel opened the door

"Be safe driving back Lexi I'll see you tomorrow"She kissed my head then left

"I love your mom"I smiled looked up at Daniel his hair was a mess he was probably sleeping

"I do too thanks for bringing her"I nodded he looked cute

"Anytime I have to go I just didn't want her to walk home alone"

"I fell asleep I was gonna go get her"I smiled laughed a bit

"I have to go"I turned around before I could start walking I felt a hand on my arm I turned to face Daniel

"Do you think um there is any way you can sleepover?"I looked up at him his eyes looked worried

"Why do you want me to sleep over?"He took his hand away from my arm started to scratch the back of his neck

"I don't know I....I would feel safer if you were here and not next door to Brandon"I smiled at him he just lied but why? Maybe there was some truth to it but not completely he was cute when he was nervous

"I'm sure I can let me just call my dad"I left my iPhone I was just about to dial when I decided against it "Actually I'm sure he won't care"

"Are you sure?" I nodded "Come on then" I followed him in we made up to his bedroom he turned to face me 

"Now are you gonna tell me what Brandon said"

"I ---um it's" Why couldn't I just tell him?

Maybe because you don't want to see him hurt? shut up stupid voice in my head I bit my lip

"I'm scared to tell you I don't want you to go ballistic" I would think at this point he'd realize who it was but nothing he just looked at me I turned around I didn't want to face him 

I could hear his footsteps come close he put his hands on both side of my shoulder and twisted me to face him there were only so much space I stared up at his eyes he cupped my face in his hands 

"I'll protect you and your family if you're scared" I shook my head I bit my lip

"He didn't threaten anyone from my family he threaten..."I stopped myself I wrapped my arms around his torso he made me feel safe he wrapped his around my neck holding me close "He threatened your mom"

I felt him tense up "Why didn't you just tell me?"I shrugged 

"I don't want to see you get hurt I don't want you to through the pain if something happened"I just blurred it out shut up self he stepped back a little 

"He had already threatened her you should have told me" I looked up at his chocolate brown eyes then at his lips 

I wanted to kiss him so bad I saw his eyes do the same he got closer til our faces with only centimeters apart I felt him pull me close his lip finally met mine and it was as if fireworks were lit our lips moved in perfect sync I was slow and soft I felt his tongue slid on my bottom lip asking for me to open my mouth and for some reason I did his tongue explored my mouth it was nice he held me close to him  I wanted to stay this way forever just me and him no one else I felt him start to pull a bit back but I held him I bit close hoping he got the memo that I didn't want to end the kiss I guess he did because he leaned back in I smiled when he finally did pull back he put his forehead against mine I smiled and  looked down I couldn't look him in the eyes
