I was sitting on the tree outside the cafeteria I was drawing and listening to music I felt someone touch my leg when I looked down there stood a smiling Xavier I took off my headphones

"Why are you sitting on a tree?You know how hard it is to find you?" I laughed a bit

"Sorry, but there something called a phone and also why not it beautiful from up here" I smiled at him he nodded in agreement

"Daniel wanted me to tell you that there is a race tonight if you wanna come? It starts at 10:30"

"I can't sorry" I jumped off the tree I put everything in my side bag

"Also, why didn't Daniel come tell me?"

"He went home early and also why can't you? just sneak out if you have too" I shook my head no

"My dad has a strict rule now after 10 no of us are allowed to be out after that" We started to walk to class

"That sucks you're our good luck charm" I poked my arm I looked at him

"Now I feel bad that I can't go"I did a small frown

"Don't get down there are plenty more that you can go to" I nodded in agreement we got to my class and he left the day went by fast I went to dance club me and the girls were performing it we stayed later than usual it was 8 when I got home I avoided everyone till it was dinner time I was downstairs in my seat

"Everyone seems to be here on time" I looked up at my dad everyone was quiet no phone no nothing "I just wanted to let you guys know that you guys will get an allowance since none of you guys work right now Samantha you'll get 80 dollars, Ben you'll get 75, and Lexi you'll get 70" I didn't mind

"Great what the hell am I suppose to buy with that" Samantha had murmured

"You want to repeat that Samantha" She looked up at my father and shook her head the rest of the dinner was a nice dinner I was walking on my way to my room when Samantha pulled me towards her

"You didn't tell anyone did you?"

"I've decided to let you tell them by yourself but if you don't do it before next Sunday I will" I pulled my arm back walked into my room I put on shorts and a tank top I stood in front of my full length mirror raised up my shirt looked at my cuts the last time I had cut was when I fought with my mom I ran my hand through each one of them remembering what each of them were for

"Lexi, what's that?" I looked at the reflection I saw Daniel standing in the balcony I pulled my shirt down I turned towards him

"The--ere um nothing"

"Do you cut yourself?" I walked over to him

"It doesn't matter you can't be here right now Daniel" I was looking at the door then back a him

"Yes it fucking matters"He screamed at me I pulled him out to the balcony

"Keep quiet" I checked if anyone poked their head into my room the good thing is no one did I looked back at Daniel his face looked mad but then again who wouldn't be

"Do you cut yourself Lexi?" I didn't answer him I looked down kept quiet

"Answer me Lexi!!!" He screamed at me it made me look up at him I'd never seen him so mad he had grabbed my forearms pulled me close to him

"Who the hell is scr---" I turned my mom and dad stood there this did not look right the only thing that was between me and Daniel were my forearms

"It's the boy from the motorcycle"She pointed at him I was really hoping she wouldn't remember him damn my luck Daniel let go of my arms I turned towards my parents

"Why is there a boy in your room Lexi?"I looked at Daniel I gave him a look that said don't say anything

"Well um--mm" I couldn't find anything to say seriously Lexi out of all the time this is the time you can't figure out what to say

"Excuse me sir I'm Daniel I came to get notes but Lexi told me about your rule of 10 and I didn't want to disturb so I thought it'd be best if I came from her balcony it was my fault sir my bad" I had never heard Daniel use the word sir

"That's fine but if next time you should use the front door instead of sneaking into my daughters room I would really appreciate" Daniel nodded

"We will be going to sleep feel free to stay"

"Thank you sir but I won't be staying long I have school tomorrow thank you tho" It took everything I had not to laugh my parents walked out of my room he got to my desk I saw him put a condom on the table

"No take it with you "He turned to look at me smiled then left I was hoping Daniel forgot about what was going on before my parents came in

"You want to tell me now" I made a confused face

"You know what I'm talking about don't give me that face "He said stern at me he then pointed at me how rude

"First it's rude to point at people "I slowly put his finger down "And I um---" I was trying to think of something to say I started to play with my fingers "I----It's--um-mm actually I don't have to tell you, you can't force me to"He was surprised that I had answered him back he breathed heavy

"Fine don't tell me have a nice night "he turned around I grabbed his arm

"Daniel" My voice was a bit shaky he just removed my hand went over to the balcony then went down I got close to the balcony I saw him leave I made a hand into a fist and hit the balcony
