Fighting?

It had been a month since everything I was at the table we were all eating breakfast

"Lexi" I looked up at my dad

"Yes?"He looked at me

"You are no longer grounded you can start going out but you still have a curfew for 12 and 11 on school days and here is your phone"He gave it to me I got up went over hugged him

"Ohh thank you thank you and I'm not just hugging you because you gave them back thanks dad, now I have to go otherwise I'm gonna be late to school"I gave him a kiss on the cheek I picked up my plate took it to the kitchen I said good morning to everyone then ran out the door I was going 60 at a 30 mph even though me and Daniel had talked about it I park I found Daniel and Luke they were near my locker

"Hey guys"

"Sup" Luke didn't say much I side hugged Daniel

"Why are you so happy?"

"I got my phone and computer back and I'm no longer grounded so I am the happiest person in this goddamn world" Daniel smiled at me

"Where are Xavier and Jesse?"I had just realized usually all 4 of them were together

"They are handling stuff it's not important to let's get you to class"I could feel he was hiding something but decided not to ask questions Daniel liked to keep stuff from people

"As soon as I put my stuff in my locker"They moved aside I put in my books

"Are you ready now?"I nodded we started walking

"So Lexi are you going to the race tonight" I looked up at him I was surprised he usually just said hi and that was it

"I don't know I wasn't invited"I looked up at Daniel

"I don't think tonight's race is safe for you to go Lexi and it's on the bad side of town"

"Then you shouldn't go either" We stopped Daniel turned towards me Luke stepped back a little

"I can take care of myself" He was screaming at me

"And so can I"He was getting angrier

"That's not the point Lexi"

"Then what is the point Daniel" I threw my hands in the air

"You're not going and that's final"He got serious and came close to me I narrowed my eyes up at him

"And since when are you my father and you don't...."Before I got to finish Luke interrupted

"Daniel we have to go you guys can finish your fight later" Luke ran over almost about to turn the corner Daniel turned to leave but I reached out for his arm

"I have no idea what you are going to get yourself into and I know that you aren't going to tell me but please be safe" he nodded then left before he turned the corner he turned towards me then they turned the corner 

I walked into class I told myself he would be okay i went through the day saying it Daniel didn't come back it was after school I was going to in n out while I was driving I saw 4 motorcycles I knew the full black Ninja motorcycle was Daniel because of the license plate and his helmet with the monster logo on the side I followed them not the best idea I could have ended up following strangers they go to Daniel's house they took off their helmets I got out of my car I leaned against my car Jesse saw me he called for Daniel then pointed at me Daniel looked over I just gave him a wave and a smile Daniel gave Xavier his keys and helmet they went inside Daniel walked over to me when he came close I saw a cut on his eyebrow and a bruise forming on his cheek

"What are you doing here?"

"What happened to your eye"I reached up touching it gently he winced at little

"Nothing I'm fine" I looked down at his knuckles they were red

"My ass you're fine you need to get cleaned up"

"Come on I'll do it inside" I locked my car than him and I  went inside his house the guys were on the couch Xavier was looking up at the ceiling with tissue shoved up his nose

"When does your mom come home?"

"10:40"

"Why do you guys need his mom?"I looked at them

"She cleans us up after a fight we could do ourselves but we get lazy and end up putting a band-aid over it so we Daniel's mom does it she loves us"I looked at Daniel he didn't even notice he was glaring at Xavier

"Fight?"I shook my head

"My bad I didn't know you hadn't told her"

"I'll clean you guys up put um Xavier you go wash your face cause I'm not touching you if you bleeding everywhere and that tissue in your nose isn't helping"Daniel went to get the first-aid kit I cleaned them up Luke had his knuckles bleed and a cut on his chin, Jesse had a deep cut on his knee, after Xavier washed his nose I cleaned up his lip which got busted open Daniel got them ice I was standing in front of Daniel cleaning his eyebrow I was putting on a band-aid I made sure It would hurt I intentionally put force on it, he knew I was doing it every time I did it he would just give me a look I just smiled at him

"I swear Lexi..."I cut him off before he could finish

"You'll what?"He didn't expect for me to answer him back he just rolled his eyes

"Damn feisty I like her"I smiled at him

"Anyways if you'll excuse us I have to talk to Lexi stay if you'd like I don't care but don't disturb us got"

"Yeah yeah just go on love birds"I rolled my eyes Daniel grabbed my hand we went upstairs to his room

"Okay I want to tell something but you have to promise not to freak out"I sat on his bed he brought a chair over put it in front of me

"The reason I didn't want you to go to the race is because the person who did this" he pointed at his eyebrows "to me well his guards I guess he went there and I don't want him anywhere near you because he is violent I don't want you to get hurt, he hurt Jesse ex we don't let girl near him so he can't hurt them that's why we stay away from girls so he can't hurt another that is dear to us"He was no longer looking at me her was looking at the floor his leg was shaking I touched his leg he looked up at me

"I understand Daniel you could have just told me there was a guy who is way too dangerous and I would have probably argued with you but then I would have understood then I'd try to get you not to go but then we'd get into a stupid fight but then I'd get over it"he smiled at me his chocolate brown eyes looked so cute he yawned he done it a lot the past 2 weeks

"Have you slept?"He shook his head

"I've been worried about stuff I've gotten about 3 hours of sleep in the past 2 days

"Come on let's get you to sleep"I grabbed his hand I sat against his headboard he laid next to me after about 30 mins he was still awake

"This is worthless"

"No it's not I got an idea lay you head on my chest looking up at the ceiling"He did just that I was running my hand through his hair about 10 mins later he had fallen asleep he looked so peaceful the guys had left I was slowly falling asleep then my eyes shut and I fell asleep

11:00pm

"Lexiane" My eyes opened there stood Perla

"Mom" Daniel looked at Perla I stood up after Daniel got up

"Mom??"I looked between the two
